Great place to stop after driving through the Smokies, casino machines were pretty tight unfortunately, but dinner at Guy Fieri kitchen was delicious!

Weekend Get Away
My husband and I have not had a romantic weekend in months. I bought the Charlie Wilson tickets back in July and in September I decided to book a room at Cherokee Casino hotel. We enjoyed the food, concert, and casino. This trip came at a great time because my mother passed away and was buried on October 12th. Have definitely been sharing my awesome experience with others.

The hotel rooms are huge and very clean. We dined at Guy Fiere's, had cocktails at Ruth's Chris, and breakfast at Sulu Cafe and all were excellent. My only criticism is that the elevators and elevator lobbies in the hotel parking garage are filthy. Almost like something you would see in a city subway. It creates such a horrible first impression of the property. Additionally, the elevator doors in the hotel towers were smeared. So maybe housekeeping needs a tutorial on elevator cleaning? Other than that, the property was clean, very pretty, and the staff was VERY friendly.

Room had many issues, shower glass was hanging to one side and door wouldn’t close or open without lifting it, toliet paper holder fell off the wall when we went to use it, the vents above the toliet and sink in bathroom were so clogged up the air wouldn’t circulate, the cooler not refrigerator hardly even put out any cool air. The staff was very friendly and restaurant food quality was very good, expensive and but expected in a hotel. We did go to buy a soda from the machine until we saw it was $4.00 for a Coke. I’m sure staffing is an issue but you should take that into consideration when charging what you do.

Love Cherokee in late October!
We stayed across the street the night before and were so disappointed that we canceled our next night there and moved across the street to Harrah’s. The last minute booking saved me a few bucks and the room was amazing. We will stay here next time we travel to Cherokee!

Nice staff but you can never get away from the smoke. Even in the none smoking rooms, it smells like someone just walked out smoking a pack. Bathroom facilities were a bit dated in the room.

We were able to enjoy the concert at the event center without having to leave the property. Also the spacious corridor's throughout the property and the amazing food selections that's are amazing. Can't forget about the casino's entertainment and the sports bar area ✅
