Lovely stay
This was a lovely week. The three real benefits of this property are the privacy, nobody bothers you, the proximity of the village, It really is 10 minutes walk and its overall situation. Sitting on the south facing patio looking out over the fields was great. We saw an Eagle, hares, deer and hawks. Perfect if you have a dog, especially the stream walk. The house did have a musty smell and a couple of spiders but overall it more than warrants a 5 out of five.

Beautiful cottage
Charroux is a beautiful and quiet place to stay and this cottage mirrors that. The location is very private and not overlooked, and the cottage has perfect views over the countryside. Exactly as described, we will be visiting again. Tim was also extremely helpful and responsive.

Bien dans l'ensemble en dehors de la propreté.
Le propriétaire du gîte très agréable mais étant anglais la communication n'était pas facile, toute les explications sur le gîte étaient en anglais, peut être qu'une version en Anglais et une autre en Français serait judicieuse. A notre arrivée le gîte était sale, ce qui était visible avait été nettoyé mais il ne fallait pas trop regarder dans les coins, sous les lits et dans les meubles. Même dans les commodes c'était sale. Mon mari à laver toute la vaisselle en arrivant car tout était poisseux. Le gîte est complet, nous n'avons manqué de rien. La piscine est très bien, il y a des jeux, elle est propre. Par contre elle n'est pas sécurisé pour les enfants, pensant que c'était obligatoire dans une location de vacances je n'ai pas pensé à vérifier. L'extérieur est très joli, il y a des guirlandes solaire et des lampes solaire sur les arbres, c'est très sympa le soir. Le linge de maison est fournie ce qui est très appréciable lorsqu'on arrive à 5 et il est propre. Les lits étaient faits. Les draps, serviettes, torchons semblaient neufs. Il est bien situé, nous avons pu visiter la vallée des singes, faire du kart a pédales, le labyrinthe végétal, grands marché de Savigné, le tout a moins de 20 minutes. Au bourg de Charroux, on à visité l'abbaye, il y a un tabac/presse, une boulangerie, une épicerie, une pharmacie et quelques autres petits commerces. Les gens étaient très sympathiques.

A wonderful place to relax
We had 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks in Belle Vue. The house met all our expectations. The view was phenomenal. There is a large garden with lots of privacy and a large trampoline for our child. And the house is fully equipped. We had lots of BBQ’s and at night we loved to put the fireplace on. The beds are very comfortable and Tim the owner makes sure everything goes smoothly during our stay. The house is 2 min drive from the boulangerie where they sell the best croissants and cakes. The area is very beautiful and rural. With lots of castles and surrounded by cute small French towns. All in all it was a perfect vacation!
