The Doyle is a great place to stay in C'ville.
Comfy, clean, very helpful staff. Great location with restaurants, bakery, chocolate shops nearby. Easy to get to.

This was our first time at The Doyle. The location is wonderful- centrally located and convenient to the campus and mall. The hotel could use a bit of a deep clean. I love the minimal yet modern decor and the rooftop bar had great views.

Increíbly noisy!! You could hear every conversation!! We had a delux suite with really nice balcony and we heard every conversation! We filed 2 noise complaints but was not addressed- extremely disappointed

This property was well priced, clean, has several restaurants on the property and others within walking distance. While I prefer to park my own car the valets took good care of my car. About the only negative would be a bit too much pink.

I stayed at this property now four times the first three times I would say I would rate the experience excellent this time a little more mediocre I did not like the room that I was I was in it was large which was nice had a very large private balcony which was also nice but the room itself was just the way it was set up and and decorated it was very Stark it was very empty feeling and very almost sterile in a way it just was lacking the other rooms I stayed in were much more comfortable and luxurious feeling this one was not it was very disappointing because I had a friend with me that I had been bragging about the hotel and it was a very disappointing room I also noticed that the hotel needs a little makeover it's just that the the couches that were taking out of the front room in the lobby and replace with tables and chairs looks horrible the couches were much nicer much more inviting and the the walls are all stuffed up all the walls on the floors and the guest room in the in the room itself there's a scuff marks all over the place it really needs to paint job but other than that the staff is great it's a good good hotel you get a good amount of space for the money it just I know it's in transition from being The quirk to the Doyle and maybe that's the reason why things look a little bit out of place and kind of in shambles but it seems as though it needs a little bit more of a decorator's touch
