I stayed at this hotel because I was traveling alone. I would not stay here if my wife was with me. First, the room was in dire need of repairs. The chair looks frayed as if a cat used it for a scratching post. The drapes had holes in it. The bed was very nice and comfortable. The parking is limited, you have to get there early if you want a good spot. Also, the breakfast was good, but it was the same everyday. If it wasn't for the price, I would not of stayed there.

Room smelt like pinesol. Floors are slick. Beds and sheets where clean but one bed was pretty worn. Mold in bathroom and all the glass looked like it was wiped with the floor rag.

The property is located close the University which is the only plus. The property itself is outdated and old, the check in process was slow and antiquated and the overall esthetic does not match what is shown on the website.

The hotel is a bit dated. Regardless of the age of the property, I do expect it to be clean. It seems that the cleaning staff paid attention to the tub, sink and bed and that's it. Towels had holes in them. The floor was dusty. There we 4 throw pillows for a king sized bed. The legs of the ironing board were down right nasty. This is a very low grade hotel that raises prices when UVA has football games in town, just like every other hotel in Charlottesville. This was the only room available in the city. if I'm going to pay nearly $200 for this room, I expect more! This was an $80 room at most.

My overnight stay at the Days Inn in Charlottesville was pleasant. Check-in was quick and the clerk was very courteous, My room was on the second floor and the facility does not have an elevator, which matters when you have a bad knee. The room was clean and arranged nicely, for a dated structure. Overall, not a bad experience.

This was your very basic hotel room. Smelled heavily of lysol or other cleaning spray when we entered. Floor had not been swept recently as there was a lot of dust. Found a floss pick on the floor beside the bed. Linens and towels were clean. Pillows were flat and beds squeaked and rattled when you roll over. That being said, we were there for a UVA game and the location was a quick uber ride to the stadium and the cost compared to other area hotels on game day was reasonable. It was an ok place to spend one night, if your standards aren't extremely high.

The hotel is in bad shape. The reception is small. Dirty and old. The room is very old and small. A lot of noise in the morning. I booked 4 nights, I spent one night and I moved to another hotel.

The room was fine but we killed 3 roaches. Then at 12:30 midnight we had enough with the people downstairs having a party right outside their room, yelling drinking and smoking. We had to call the front desk who came out and took care of the problem because we didn't hear them again. We only stayed 1 night and that was enough the bed was noisy as all can be. Every time I turned I would wake up my wife. Overall a bad night of sleeping.
