Beautiful but Unfortunate
The property is absolutely stunning and the staff is fantastic. My wife picked it based on an Instagram recommendation and we were looking for a relaxing night away from our children. Unfortunately our room was across the street from the night club and the sound proofing did little to take care of the bass permeating the walls until 2am. We were provided ear plugs and we used a sound machine but it just wasn't enough. We also had the displeasure of being serenaded by an extremely loud, yet brief, romantic encounter in the room next to us... twice.
I'm scoring this as poor as our stay was not relaxing. I realize the location of the night club is not the hotels fault, but for the high price of the suite I def. did not feel like I received my moneys worth and it has to be known that the bass permeates the walls. I do not recommend rooms on that side of the hotel for light sleepers and I feel as this is something that should be known by the hotel and should disclose and/or offer an alternative at checkin. I realize I probably could have asked for a room change, but having to pack up in the middle of the night to relocate is not ideal either.
