The staff and ambiance was everything!

I celebrated my birthday in Charlotte and chose to stay at the at the Ivey’s. Besides the property being elegant and cozy, the staff and service was impeccable. They remembered my birthday, called to confirm my reservations, and the valet staff were friendly and fast. Full stock in room bar with snacks, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was very inviting. I will definitely being staying here again on my next overnight in Charlotte.

Great Overnight Stay

My wife and I stayed for one night because of it's proximity to the Belk Theatre (across the street). We loved everything about the place - top notch staff, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, spacious shower, great housekeeping, lovely lounge, excellent breakfast, efficient valet service. We'll be back next time we're in Charlotte.

An upscale boutique in the heart of everything. The room was wonderful - great quality bedding, bathroom and a full minibar. Room service was excellent - they graciously customized a few items for my dietary needs and served food on real china and a silver platter. THIS is the hotel you want if you're sick of the room-service-in-a-bag-with-plastic-forks lack of quality at all the other big-box brands. Staff were superb and the location is excellent. Well done!

Beautiful/unique hotel with every detail well thought out! The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The staff were kind and very accommodating. Disappointing

The place was nice however very disappointing that we payed money for a night and check in did not happen until almost 5pm, none of the amenites were available due to a party, no microwave for food from somewhere else since you could not get food from the hotel, and was not aware the hotel had residence so after a certain time you had to take the stairs!!!!!

They deserve their high ratings

Amiable, personal service throughout our brief stay, whether it was the servers in the restaurant, the front desk or the parking valet. Sophia’s, the lounge/restaurant, is as cool as advertised. For a small boutique hotel their exercise room was nicely equipped.
