Staff was wonderful and check in was easy, however the room wasnt the best. The fridge wasnt cold, the microwave is stuck on 30 minutes and you cant clear it. The phone randomly started talking, which really creeped us out. The smoke detector is missing, and there is a small hole in the wall, like someone had kicked it and they didnt fix it. The room itself is clean and comfortable, and I like that the hotel is right across the street from mcdonalds and chick fil a, which made getting food easy.

Think twice before lodge again in this place
Room was not exactly clean, walked over candies, a prior customer’s chicken was in the refrigerator, breakfast area was very very small, unkept and the food not good, Sunday we did not even attempt to have breakfast at the hotel The receptionists were smiling and had a great customer service attitude

Booked a room through Expedia. Booking confirmed. Paid. Drove two hours and when reached this place, the front desk said, “we have no more rooms” The available room was given to a walk in. I was there at 9:35 pm and they didn’t care that they didn’t keep my paid up / confirmed room. “Ask Expedia, they may refund your money “

It was a busy weekend in Charlotte so many hotels sold out. This one apparently wasn't as I made an online reservation and had a confirmation number. Upon arrival I was informed the place was sold out. The Manager was running around trying to find empty rooms for those of us who were showing up with valid reservations. Besides that the facility was a little "worn out"

First of all I would like to say the staff were very kind and I had no issues with them. However I paid for a non smoking double bed room that looked fairly nice but when I checked in I got put into a one bed smoking room and I had my 7 year old child with me, it was late and I was told that was the only room available so we had to choice but to stay. I switched rooms the next day and was put into the correct type of room but the room was not that great. The beds were uncomfortable, it looked like the headboard was ripped off the wall and there were not full sized pillows on the bed, just two small square ones. When I woke up the next morning I had a ton of bug bites on me. Sad to say I will not be staying here again.

I was told at check in that the room I had reserved was in fact not available after driving all day, so I can’t comment on the room since I didn’t actually get one :) front desk literally said not my problem :) probably for the best since the building was not clean and appeared to be falling apart.

Room wasn’t ready at 10:30pm. Then we were given a king handicapped room when we wanted and paid for a double. The room smelled like marijuana and urine. The bathroom floor was sticky and smelled overwhelming of urine. Mattress was low in the middle…: carpet was so dirty my socks were black! Gross. We’ve been here for years, and this was the worst I’ve ever seen it.

This property is almost impossible to find after dark. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack with no lighted signage. The AC was broken, the toilet seat was broken, bugs were in the bathroom, a barking dog lived nextdoor, and a booze party was going on in the backdoor area outside. The night desk clerk did come to find a breaker switch on the AC to shut it off so there was no AC and no heat and it was 54 degrees outside. I will never stay in this location again.
