Property is new and nice but the road outside the hotel, Tryon is loud. View from our room in the city was very nice. Price is high.

Location is excellent and overall facility is great. We asked if we could check-in a little earlier (2pm) check-in time is at 3pm. They said they didn’t have the room ready which is completely understandable. We arrived around 2:45pm, we were told they wouldn’t have the room ready by guaranteed time of 3pm. They said the latest would be 3:30pm. We received a text until 3:52pm to state the room was now ready. If stated on website that check-in is at 3pm, room should be given out at 3pm. Staff didn’t apologize, did not say why it wasn’t ready. As we were waiting on counter, other guests were checking in and getting their rooms. I found it not acceptable not to be honored advertised check-in time.

We only stayed for one night -- and it was an enjoyable one. Hotel and our room was clean & comfortable. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and out was a breeze. The hotel is convenient to bars and restaurants and Bank of America stadium (an easy walk!).
