The Space:
This spacious 3-story house is divided into 6 separate condos. The building is perfect for larger groups of friends or families that want to vacation together but still have their own suite to relax in at the end of a fun day exploring the city.

The open floor plan accommodates both dining and lounge space, making it great for groups looking to spend time together or enjoy a meal. It has a breakfast bar with 2 seats and a living room with high ceilings. This unit is smartly finished and furnished with quality stainless steel appliances and flat-screen TVs. Comfy, minimalist design and thoughtful details like upholstered headboards and subway-tiled showers add modern personality. Every room has hardwood floors, central A/C, and free WiFi. The kitchen cabinets are stocked with essential cookware and cutlery and all linens are provided in each apartment.

This listing includes ONE PARKING SPACE.

Upon arrival, guests enter through the rear entrance of the house near the parking lot. This condo is located immediately inside on the 1st floor.

Please note this condo sleeps up to 6 guests: 2 in the primary suite (king bed) and 2 in each of the 2 secondary bedrooms (queen beds).

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to this suite and will have all of the essentials you need during your stay.

THIS LISTING INCLUDES ONE PARKING SPACE ONLY. Parking is labeled in our parking lot behind the building. We cannot accommodate oversize vehicles.

Please don't inquire about additional parking as we don't have access to any. The closest garage is at the corner of King and Spring Street at the Hyatt Place about 6 blocks away. If you have more than one car, please plan for that.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

The house is minutes to the very popular Upper King Street district where you will find a multitude of great shops, bookstores, and fashion boutiques - as well as amazing restaurants!

You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services:

The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property. Any sign of pets will incur additional fees starting at $500.

Parking: Our parking lot is very tight. We do not have parking for any oversized vehicles. If you have questions about whether or not your car will fit, please ask. Additional overnight parking available at the Hyatt Place on King Street for $18/night.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

When we arrived at the Pearl Suite, we were taken aback by the conditions of the outdoors. There were bottles, cans and trash on the ground and they weren’t picked up for a few days. Parking was very tight. Upon entering the building, we noticed that the hallway had not been cleaned. Once inside, it was freshly cleaned. All rooms were nicely appointed. Interesting, though, the unit can sleep 6 but there are only three counter stools and not enough utensils. One of the reviews was right when it said that noise, from the upstairs suite, was loud. We encountered it every night but one. Although negative, the four of settled in nicely. The suite provided a good atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. We would go back if minor details were addressed.

This property was centrally located. We were walking distance from many things. There was close free transportation. Accommodations were very comfortable and cozy. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms was a plus. We had a small vehicle so parking on site was perfect. We would stay again.

The condo was lovely however there was a terrible musty smell throughout our stay. The host provided an air purifier and spray but unfortunately it didn’t help. We were prepared for a tight parking spot but had no issues. The communication with the host was superb!

Great Location with short trips to all the hot spots
Love the location! Rooms and space were adequate and as described. Parking was tight and only one space, but we were prepared for that because it was communicated properly. There were a few little details that need attention, but nothing that would make us stay away…. We would definitely book again. A few things left from previous guests that cleaning crew missed; couldn’t figure out how to run dishwasher; could definitely hear foot traffic and toilet use from place above….. but all minor things and we definitely enjoyed our stay! Timely communication from host at all times. Check in and check out was easy. Definitely recommend

Great for walking around.
Property is close to tons of restaurants and little cafes and bakeries. We had no one above us until the last night. You definitely can hear all noises walking around above you. But place was very clean, all amenities you need and more were there. The host was very nice and answers all your questions and is very accommodating. Highly recommend. Traffic and parking anywhere is a nightmare in the city so be prepared.

Girl’s Trip
There were 4 friends staying in this unit. We enjoyed the stay and found the property modern and clean. The linens were nice and soft. The pillows were fluffy, but a couple smelled a bit sweaty. A Each bedroom was provided with a sound machine, which we quickly found necessary overnight as the property is located near the medical center and there was noise from ambulances and helicopters heading to the helipad. I suggest adding another stool at the bar. There were three stools and four of us. I called and asked about getting another stool, but there was not one available. The person I spoke with responded to my call very quickly. Parking is difficult, but we knew this before arriving. The recommendations are minor. The 4 star rating is due to the location.

Great place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay - the property is within walking distance to the downtown area (not super close, so bring walking shoes!). Clean and updated, comfortable beds. Our only complaint was our upstairs neighbors were loud and we could hear them walking around when they came home at 2am…but otherwise we enjoyed our stay! Charleston is such an awesome place to visit.

Family came into town for an early Christmas and this home was in a convenient location for everything we hoped to do in and around Charleston. The unit was spacious and great for what we needed. Parking was extremely tight as the host informed us of, but parking passes were provided if we elected to park somewhere other than the adjoining lot. We had issues with our door code working on the exterior door a few times but the host was always reachable via phone or text. The host was also accommodating and let us come back after check out and search for a lost wallet. It was a comfort to have such accessible support throughout our stay.

Nice but a few issues
The pearl suite is a lovely place Sadly, we were unable to stay in it the first two nights of our stay due to some damage. I have a cast boot on my foot so the trek up the stairs was a bit challenging. When we got moved down it was a wonderful place and very comfortable. The cleaning people could be a bit better and the washer made some strange noise. All in all I stil would recommend this property and the neighborhood. Thank y for hosting us

Perfect Place for Exploring Charlson
I’m picky and I was quite happy with the Pearl Suite. Has everything you need plus extra! Lovely simple decor, very comfortable beds… they tried to think of everything to make your stay extra special. Close to all the action but far enough for quiet. Highly recommend the walking tour with Tommy Dew! True the parking is tight but is expected in Charston. Would definitely book again!
