Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties.

Welcome to Salty Shack B! This 2 BR/1 BATH unit sleeps 5 and is located across the street from the beach, as well as within walking distance to the heart of Folly Beach. It features an open floor plan that includes the kitchen, dining and living spaces, perfect for entertaining family or friends! This unit shares an adjoining door with unit A and can be rented together to make 4BR/2BA.

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historic exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25 - minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island!

We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am.
Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no more than 60 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.
No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited.
The occupancy can be at most 5 people at any time during your stay.
We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking.

If the noise level exceeds the legal limit for FB, you will receive a friendly reminder text message to turn the noise down. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license.

Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. However, we are committed to your and our community's comfort, so please let us know if we can do anything during your stay to make it more enjoyable.

Easy check in process and very clean!
Loved this place! Very roomy and very clean; fresh towels were folded on the ends of the beds, very accommodating! (the only little thing I noticed was the cover for the fan in the bathroom ceiling was pretty dusty, but this place was really clean otherwise). Communication was outstanding, they were on top of things and gave us great information reference everything we needed to know. And everything is within walking distance, you won’t really need your car after you arrive. I recommend it!

Excellent location steps from the beach and steps from Center St. Perfect size for our group for our girls’ weekend. Bonus was having some beach equipment that we could use like takami mats. Manager super responsive and checked in several times to make sure everything was in order. Would stay here again.

The location was fantastic, a 5 minute walk to just about anywhere we wanted to be so the car stayed parked until the day we left. The rental itself was larger than we anticipated, and very comfortable. Overall a very positive experience.

Great location!
Check-in was a breeze, unit was very spacious. Location was close to the beach, one block from the main street with restaurants, and one block from Bert’s. Beds and shower were great, but living room furniture smelled a little like dogs, which i guess you’re going to get in a dog-friendly place. We had a comfortable stay. A hairdryer would be helpful.

Cannot beat the location!
We enjoyed our stay in October. The unit was clean and location is perfect. We were right across the street from the beach access, a block or two from the main strip with restaurants and shops. Also Folly Beach is easy access to Charleston... only about 20-25 minutes

Perfect spot
Perfect spot for a little get away. Only thing I would suggest is getting the floor fixed. The floor is just unlevel to the point that the LVP is sticking up in places which could be harmful/tripping hazard. Perfect location to beach and downtown Folly. Overall we loved our stay!

Just right!
When you visit Folly Beach, you’re not visiting for the lights, noise, and tourist attractions. Likely, you’re visiting for peace, quiet, tranquility, etc. This rental is a true vintage beach experience. Some other reviews mentioned the uneven flooring. To clarify, yes, this is true. However, any beach or surf shop you go in will also have the same issues. This property is quiet, convenient, and in walking distance to everything you will need or want on the island. It boasts a full kitchen, washer, dryer, 2 bedrooms. It’s bright and airy. Most importantly, you can see the ocean from the front door. What more could you want? To add, communication with the manager is easy and very streamline as well. We will definitely return.

Great location, less than ideal parking
This unit was in a great location close to restaurants and across the street from the beach. It was clean and very spacious. The floor is coming up in spots so you do need to be careful walking barefoot. Parking is less than ideal. You are told where to park but it is really a free for all with other guests. You keep your fingers crossed that you have a place to park if you go anywhere and come back.

Overall, this property is awesome! Literally just have to cross the street and you’re at the beach. Then it’s probably like a five minute to the downtown beachy area with shopping. House was clean. The floors are a little on even with a few cracks in them. Easy parking as well. I would stay here again!

Great location. Steps to the beach and restaurants. Bert's Market is one block away and has everything you need or may have forgot. Unit is old and the floor is extremely uneven, making it a tripping hazard. It was clean though.

Salty Shack was a perfect place for my friend and I. We felt welcome and at home for the two weeks we spent there. The home was decorated beautifully. The beds were very comwhich is extremely important to me since I have back pain. Everything we needed was in the kitchen, including pots, pans, baking pans, a blender, coffee maker, toaster, and more. There was dish soap and dishwasher detergent to get us started, and there were tissues, and paper towels. There were plenty of bath towels, and the washer and dryer were excellent. The one small concern we had was addressed within five minutes!! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
