Morning Staff was not very inviting to guest. Never been to charleston so this was my first impression. I travel fairly often, and will not be returning. Although my son will be going to school in the area, i will not return to this hotel. i must say the evening staff was very polite and happy to welcome out of town guest!

King Suite w/Sofabed

Cons: Room condition was not as pictured or described and underwhelming. "Sofabed" was twin sized with a coil mattress that was extremely uncomfortable and ultimately we were unable to utilize it. Only extra sheets were provided and not the correct size. Furniture was stained and dirty. Pros: Staff was friendly. Great location. Lobby area was nice. King bed was very comfortable. Check in/out was easy. Overall the king suite with sofabed did not meet our needs or expectations. I would not recommend this specific room option.

The room had a retractable blind that was controlled by remote - it did not work but then the blinds randomly would open and close on their own - it was freaking us out . The adjacent door did not lock so anyone on the other room could have entered room 336

Cold showers

At check in was given a room that was already occupied. Went back to desk and got upgraded the new room had no hot water. We complained. It got fixed for one day then no hot water again
