This was one of the worst motels I've stayed in. When we entered, it was full of Mosquitoes. We killed as many as we could but were bothered by them all night. We got very little sleep. It was like a one star motel......dingy and not very clean. I would not stay there again.

The pictures must have been photoshopped. The hotel was clean, but very old. The stairs seemed dangerous to get to the second floor. The view of the river was nice, but did not make up for the accommodations.

Room was clean and comfortable. Older place that needs some work but for just a place to sleep it was great. The only view of the bridge from your room is thru the little bathroom window. But they have a nice outdoor seating area to sit and enjoy the view.

A nice place to stay ..once.
We always love staying here while in South Dakota but since our last visit 2 to 3 years ago, the motel has become shoddy. Curtains for hanging off rods, rooms need a good cleaning, even finding hair on floor from previous persons. There were spider webs and spiders and many many mosquitoes in the room. Probably due to a gap in the bottom of the door. Could not fit anything in the freezer as it was frosted over. The hotel is under New Management so hopefully these things can get taken care of in time. We would love to come back to a place we once knew as a nice place to stay.

Look...this is an old motel. Some things have been updated while others haven't. It is clean and in a great location. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but that is to be expected with an old motel. Sure can't beat this appropriately priced place! 10/10 would recommend and will return when in the area!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable (which are the two primary criteria. ) The bathroom has been updated (somewhat). It was quiet. Only complaint about the room is that there was no hair dryer. (Which is pretty much standard these days.) The building exterior and grounds need a LOT of work! Peeling paint (on the deck of the overlook.) Shaky stairs to level two. Rough and uneven parking lot.
