The hotel was fine, but a bit pricey for what you get. The deluxe room was still much smaller than a standard hotel room, and was missing basic features like a mini fridge or outlets near the bedside table. Plus, there is only very limited free parking, so we were stuck finding street parking and feeding the parking meter the whole time. However, it was a nice place to stay in a very convenient location, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Nice staff and great location. The room was clean and tidy. The only negative point were 1. Construction across the street when I stayed. I don't know how long it will take. If you are a morning person, you'll be fine. 2. Limited parking in front of the hotel for guests. 3. AC is quite loud.

This Hotel is suitable for a one night stay. It’s very basic low budget. Horrible bathroom and uncomfortable bed. There is a roof top patio for when the weather is nice.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were very accommodating with information and assistance. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was above expectations. However, while the stairs were easy enough to climb, an elevator would have been preferred for us older clients.

Stayed here many times, keep coming back. Comfortable bed, clean room, nicely set up. Restaurant is wonderful, but we avoided karaoke night! Parking can be a little tight. Coffee shop attached is a nice addition. Staff are great.

Location is perfect. Rooms are clean and everyone was friendly. The only negative point was the construction across the street. It is too noisy to not be mentioned before booking. Hard to sleep after 6am.

For almost $300 a night, I found the private room in the hostel extremely expensive. The room was ok, the common spaces looked run down and in need of some tlc. But it’s got a good location so you can walk everywhere, which is good.

NOT Back-to-school getaway!
Loved the room; very 70's vibe and smelled like chocolate chip cookies from the bakery downstairs. Danya, evening front desk person, was so knowledgeable and gave us so many ideas for where to eat and what to do, and every one was spot on! Everything was within walking distance. The hotel had a cool outdoor deck area which was lovely to relax and drink a tea in the morning or just sit under the stars in the evening. The ice machine room was well stocked and we could have made waffles if we were so inclined. It was a perfect getaway!

Right in downtown Nelson, this hotel was a bit unusual but I slept like a log - room darkening shade on the window worked well. The shower down the hall was the unusual bit but it worked and we were close to everything there!
