Very disappointing overall experience
Very unpleasant check-in. We arrived early and understood that check-in was not until 3 PM. They asked us to wait in the lobby because usually they could make a room ready early. They did not keep us updated. We waited over three Hours. At 3 PM they still did not have a room for us. we finally did get a Room after being extremely assertive and insisting on seeing the manager. The manager was not apologetic, however, he did find a room almost immediately When it was clear that we were not going to except any excuses. No offer of assistance with luggage or orientation to hotel services was offered. Food in the restaurant was mediocre at best although the service was pleasant. I had a different room the second night because we were joining a tour group and had no hot water in the shower that night. My overall impression was that the poor Service was a matter of incompetence rather than deliberate neglect.
