I was pleasantly surprised!! Im not sure where the negative reviews came from but not one of them held true for my stay. I came in thinking "you get what you pay for" but we got so much more! Honestly, it exceeded our expectations.

This property is a more of an extended stay place. The rooms are not connected to the lobby and you have to go outside to access lobby. Actually, we found it kind of scary. We were charged for parking, $6.00 a day. That was not mentioned nor was the $100.00 "essential fee." The charges were mentioned after the reservations were made. A list of hotel policies were mailed after the fact. The 112.00 that we paid in excess of the room rate put this motel up past what is charged at a much nicer place. The place was clean but it was like a band aid had been put on a sore. Outside was dark and several of the doors were locked with notices on them. Will not stay here again. Did not feel safe, was overcharged and other vehicles did not have the parking pass in the window. The desk clerk did not mention the parking cost After seeing the strict policy rules sent (after we made reservations) we thought it important to ask. Maybe other guests did not. Stay at the Hilton or Hampton Inn, Much nicer and cost no more (or even less) in the long run. The breakfast looked ok for a hotel breakfast. Staff was not very friendly but only saw the young woman that checked us in. One other issue was the counter at check in. The counter was .quite dirty. Had probably not been cleaned and disinfected in a very long time. Patiently awaiting for my 100.00 "essential fee" to be put back on my credit card. Probably won't be from the looks of the place!

Don't let the 9.2 stars fool you
Site said newly remodeled with a 9.2 star rating. Must have been employees giving rating or previously homeless. A fresh coat of paint does not mean remodeled. Cockroaches everywhere in the kitchen. Coming from under the oven, refrigerator, and even garbage disposal. Doors to bedrooms and bathrooms didn't close all the way. If they did close, you had to use your shoulder to open back up. Also, if you are remodeling, get rid of the 30 year old carpet.
