No QR code for me please
Beautiful new hotel with very nice room. I did not like the check in or the service at the restaurant. They require you to scan a QR code to check in or interact with the hotel in any way. QR code for the restaurant menu. QR code for room service. I don't feel like I should be required to fill out an online form and disclose a ton of personal information to simply get a room for a night. I should be able to check in with my passport and my money...and without having to use my phone. The WIFI was also barely usable for most of my stay. If you are not bothered by the above issues, it is a very nice place.

The location is good, but I had too many issues, with noise and water. The room wasn't ready on time and when I did check in, there was food in the room from the previous guest. Also the visitor policy is far too strict, even if I was coming back to the room in the middle of the day to change or charge my phone, a guest was not permitted up unless you pay an extra 100,000 pesos. The shower head broke during my stay, and the first couple days there were issues with the water. I asked for a quiet room, I was put in the first floor. I asked to change on check in and they did nothing. Overall with so many issues, not with the price with so many other options in Cartagena. I didn't try the restaurant because the selection was small and overpriced. The lobby bar is also about 3x the price of items elsewhere.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is a bit different from what you are used to from the outside but it was a great stay. The staff at the front were very helpful with recommendations and helping with getting cabs.

Mood Marina is a great place to stay in the Matuna neighborhood. It's centrally located, being within walking distance to the park, the clocktower, and some great food and shopping options. While it's still under some minor onstruction, you can tell it's going to be a great hotel.

Great New Hotel located in the middle of all the places you want to be. Great staff and the lattes at reception are the best in Colombia! The room was large and spacious. There is a gym, it is small but you can definitely get your sweat on. I will return to this hotel and would recommend to family and friends

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mood Matuna Hotel in beautiful Cartagena, Colombia, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The hotel is going through changes and remodeling so it was very noisy in the morning hours. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, modern and simple. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The room needed an extra trash can and some shelves in the bathroom for toiletries and clothes. The location of Mood Matuna is perfect for exploring the historic walled city. Many attractions, including the iconic Castillo San Felipe and vibrant Plaza Santo Domingo, are just a short stroll away. The hotel also provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants and activities, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, my stay at Mood Matuna Hotel was nothing short of magical. The combination of excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and prime location makes it an ideal choice for anyone visiting Cartagena. I can’t wait to return to this gem of a hotel on my next trip!
