I'm only giving this property 2 stars because of the experience I had after we checked out. To begin, the room I requested was barely an ocean view as it indicated in the description, and it was smaller than expected. The service at the pool bar was on point. Being that this hotel is on the beach, nowhere in this property did it state that we were not allowed to take a room towel to the beach. I went to the beach with my fiance sat at the chairs they had at the beach and went back to the room after about an hour. The AC stopped working and when I went to check out I informed the guy at the front desk about the AC and I left it as that. He then told me that there was a towel that had a stain ( which looked like a sand or dirt stain, the size of a finger probably from the chair i sat on, nothing out of this world.) and told me I had to either clean it MYSELF or pay $20,000 pesos for them to take care of the towel. NEVER in my life have I ever experienced something this ridiculous in a hotel. Charge me if i stole the towel or really dirtied it to the point that bleach and detergent wouldn't work for a small sand or dirt stain from a beach chair but the audacity of telling me I had to clean it or pay was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional from the staff. Never will i step foot in that ridiculous place nor would I recommend anyone to stay at this hotel after this experience!!!!!

The Hotel is average but I was expecting a better service. It is not a free stay nor a cheap choice hotel. They have No room service what so ever if I wanted ice in the room I had to go downstairs or up in the roof top to get it. Not even a glass of water. Very clean. But expected more

A jucuzzi tub is useless w/o hot water, ditto for shower. Ceiling fan speed was either Off or Insane Hi speed, wall air conditioner was feeble, couldn’t put lunch or dinner meals on my room. And the beach was trashy and filled with peddlers hounding us.

The room was great. Just that you need to put the key card in a slot in order to have power - wich includes air conditioning. The restaurant is very ordinary. It's not a huge problem because there's an excellent restaurant at a 3 min walk (Zona Norte). But the breakfasts aren't good. The beach is at a 5 min walk, wich is great. Everything else is a bit far, but most of the time, there's drivers waiting at the door and they'll drive you for a reasonable price. Book your activities at the entry hall; it's cheaper than using apps. The pool on the roof is really nice. All in all, a good experience.

The hotel was directly next to the airport, and just a walk across the street to the beach. The room was very large with a balcony overlooking the beach. My favorite part was the rooftop pool and bar. I asked for a drink that I had previously ordered that the bartender ran out of at the bar, and she went all the way downstairs to the restaurant on the first floor to get me one. (I didnt realize until she came back and told me, it was above and beyond). Incredible service at the pool. Also a great view from the pool with a beautiful sunset picture opportunity. Highly recommend.

Property view is nice. But everything about this place looks and was cheap.Safe code would not change from what staff stored it to be which was unacceptable. Im very disappointed about the little ants that my bro and i had to kill each time we entered room. We didn't leave anything open including our bags due to ant infestation. My opinion, "FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY" Also keep bags or anything up off the floor. I give this place a 1 star just cause AC and fan worked just how i like

First when I arrived I told the taxi driver this maybe the wrong address, because the name of the hotel is hotel Summer in front of the ocean. He said yes it is, but you have to cross 4 lanes of traffic first. I was still optimistic, so I proceeded to check in. When I got to my room it was apparent they were not prepared for guests as the AC was off, it was a very hot day, and it took 3 hours for the room to cool down. The “balcony” was that only in name as I could not sit and look into the ocean because it was too small. I had to sit side ways and enjoy oncoming traffic. At this point I’m being picky, but what really did it for me was I woke up in the morning and saw a roach sauntering across the room like I was the Intruder. When I killed it, a short while after I noticed a trail of ants, but by this time I had a blasting headache. I couldn’t figure why I didn’t drink, this was no hangover. I tried to call the front desk but of course my phone was dead. So I went out the room and bam it smacked me right in the face… very heavy gasoline fumes. I went to tell the front desk and notify them the phone didn’t work. They called my room and said it worked. I said not because it rings for you. The phone was as dead as that roach. Anyway. I decided to check out because I couldn’t at this time. I requested a refund for my remaining days and they straight said no. Even though the fines were a health factor. 20 minutes after leaving my headache started to go away. Do not stay here.
