Warm welcome received and friendly owner with recommendations on local places to visit. Accommodated us for a meal despite not booking and would recommend to others for a scenic few days

Superb boutique hotel.

Pros: Everything!!!
Location: The shire horses of Dyfed farm are a must see. Very interesting history of the same family been there since 1849 and how the shire horse stud started.
Superb hotel. Nothing too much trouble to Terry and Jan. They work so hard to make your stay even better. Jan makes all the cakes, scones etc., and every day we had a scone and cream with a lovely pot of tea. I was really pleased to see china cups as it makes all the difference to the taste of tea. Also they had a lovely tea service Vilroy and Bosch. The shower was lovely and plenty of hot water. And the best bedding. The sheets and duvet cover had the softest feel to them. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area. Also they are pet friendly and they have a lovely lawn that the dogs can play on.

clean and tidy

Pros: Location and good breakfast
Cons: Open the bar!
Location: Plenty of good walks and drives
A clean and tidy guest house, with friendly owners. Good breakfast, unfortunately the chef wasn't on duty due to a broken wrist so no evening meals. A good spot to get to the beautiful countryside and fantastic beaches. Try Mwnt, Caibor and Llangranog for quiet spots and Tenby and Newquay for more tourist things. The boat trip to Caldey Island from Tenby is a must. Cardigan is a nice enough town for a wet afternoons visit and £5.00 for a half hour visit to the castle was ok. I was disappointed that the guest house owners didn't bother to open the bar n the evening because there ' weren't people about ' but you couldn't access the bar/reception/lounge area as it was all locked up. Overall a mostly good experience.

Thankyou Brian I am sorry the bar was not open, not enough business to pay some one to stand around for 2 bottles of beer, the pub was open 100 yards along the road with sky TV, if you wanted to chat to someone and drink with fellow drinkers, perhaps on your next visit we will be able to keep the Bar open for you, Best Wishes Terry & Jan, 3 out off 5 is mean because you could not get a drink.
