The environment

Located in the town of Carboneras in the surroundings of the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Nijar. Protected space of unique volcanic origin in Europe. An arid and maritime landscape with a flora, fauna and seabed cataloged among the highest quality in the Spanish Mediterranean coast.

It is a space to discover: nature, beaches, tranquility and its climate, with an annual average of 20 degrees and more than 300 days of sunshine per year that permeate this paradisiacal enclave of luminosity, makes it an ideal place to live, or to spend a few days off at any time of the year.

There are a variety of beaches and coves to visit, very different and where, in large part you can practice nudism.(look at activities and attractions).

In Carboneras you have many beaches to visit, apart from those of the town, you can visit the beach where the famous film Laurence of Arabia, carob beach was filmed .. and now known for the paralyzed hotel, La playa de los muertos, one of the best beaches of Cabo de Gata.

In Carboneras there are several supermarkets, 3 pharmacies and a health center. It is the best equipped town in the natural park environment.

It has about 7000 inhabitants all year. although in summer it increases.

You can eat very well in Carboneras and with little money. Famous tapas accompanied by beer for only 2 euros in all bars in the town.
Activities and attractions

For the first visit to the area, the most advisable thing is to visit the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata, The ideal is to do it when it is not very hot, in that case it is better to lie on one of its beaches.

Visit its localities and its beaches that are many and very different, from rocky coves, beaches of whiter sand (salt), others of black sand (lead), of coarse gravel without sand (black), of small gravel and Blanca (the dead) and many more besides their small authentic towns and protected from the massive growth of our coasts.

Localities such as Aguamarga, Las Negras, Rodalquilar, not to be missed.

You can visit the town of Mojacar (old town, not Mojacar beach). city founded by the Arabs in a unique and beautiful enclave. In Mojacar Playa you will find many restaurants and night bars largely focused for foreign tourism.

Aguamargua, a very small fishing village that has kept its charm. And all the towns of the Natural Park. Among those is Rodalquilar with some old mines operated by the English converted into the facilities responsible for the conservation of the park ... and its beach "el playazo".

Or the Salinas beach, next to the Cabo de Gata, very long with fine sand where just crossing the small and straight back road we have the salt flats with its old church and lagoons where pink flamingos and more emigrant species rest in different epochs, unique places, landscapes, fauna and flora in Europe.

Sporting activities that can be carried out in the area throughout the year are: diving (3 clubs charcoal), golf, hiking, horse riding, caving.

Terraza en Carboneras
Alojamiento bien situado cerca del centro y en primera línea de mar, con una magnífica terraza con vistas al paseo marítimo y a la playa, decorado con gusto y bien equipado. En las calles colindantes es fácil aparcar. Entorno poco ruidoso. Muy recomendable.
