Asiallinen ja rauhallinen hotelli keskustassa

Pros: Mahtava aamiainen, miellyttävä ja avulias henkilökunta, tilavat huoneet, sviitissä 3 taulutv:tä ja 3 ilmastointilaitetta, loistava hinta-laatusuhde

Cons: parveke minikokoinen, kokolattiamattojen tilalle sileät lattiat, joku tolkku hotellin wild fig-ravintolan lounasaikoihin, sviittiin toinenkin suihku

Location: tiede- ja opiskeluelämän keskus, lähellä Kapkaupungin vilkasta keskusta, jossa museoita, ostoskeskus, hieno akvaario, Tauluvuori, markkinoita jne

Teimme vajaan 2 viikon matkan maaliskuun alussa. Valitsimme hotellin sijainnin mukaan. Sieltä oli helppo lähteä eri puolelle kaupunkia, ja illalla voi nauttia herkullisen illallisen viereisessä ravintolassa. Ravintolassa ongelmia vain lounaan suhteen, välillä sitä sai vain klo 12-14, välillä myöhemmin mutta aina ihan sattumanvaraisiin aikoihin. Hotellin sijainti oli rauhallinen, ei liikenteen melua, ja useimmat asiakkaat aikuisia, liikemiehiä ja yliopistoihmisiä. Kahden makuuhuoneen sviitti oli tilava, siisti ja hyvinvarusteltu, mm silityslauta, -rauta ja fööni. Se sopi loistavasti perheelle, jossa 2 aikuista tytärtä. Liikkuminen sujuvaa uberilla ja taksilla. Tauluvuoret tarjosivat paljon tekemistä, vaelluksia, auringonlaskuja, kaapelihissillä nousuja jne. Hyväntoivonniemi ja pingviiniranta olivat upeita, samoin lukuisat viinitilat. Safarikohteita ei ole Kapkaupungin lähellä. Paljon hyviä ruokapaikkoja, Mama Africaan varattava pöytä hyvissä ajoin. Hintataso oli edullinen, ja nähtävää ja tekemistä todella paljon. Kaikki julkiset wc:t tosi siistejä. Turisteja ymmärrettävästi paljon; paikalliset ja palvelutehtävissä olevat ystävällisiä ja joustavia. Hotellin wi-fi toimi hivenen vaihtelevasti.

Gutes Hotel zwischen Airport und City

Stilvoll eingerichtetes Hotel, mit superfreundlichem Service. Das Internet hat gut funktioniert (nicht immer der Fall in SA). Auch das Restaurant neben dem Hotel ist großartig. Leider ist die Umgebung recht laut (2 Autobahnen sind in direkter Nähe). Wenn man die Fenster geschlossen hält, hört man praktisch nichts. Draußen oder mit geöffnetem Fenster ist es doch recht laut.
