Rustic Country House - 2 kitchens

First constructed in the 1682 the main house was restored to modern standards in 1987. Originally an olive oil farm, the house has been restored to the original architecture and “feel” of centuries gone by. With spacious rooms, halls and charming bedrooms. This family house has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Charted as Spanish national heritage with an immaculately preserved olive press, original walls from the 17th century and surrounding farmlands of olive groves and almond trees. Everything at the property is meant to enjoy and feel the true Mediterranean country life but still be very close to the sea. With gorgeous beaches to choose from, secluded coves or long sandy sun tan heavens await. Three of the most unique golf courses on the island are just 10 min away. Restaurants and nightlife a readily available in the area as well as many cultural attractions, such as castles, museums, caves, horse riding on on the beach and mountain hikes.

Wonderful Stay in Mallorca

The property is amazing, it’s absolutely beautiful in a great location. The pool was great for the kids. The property manager Perla was super helpful and friendly. This is a one of a kind place.

Wonderful villa

We stayed for two weeks in August and had a wonderful holiday. The villa is huge with so many facilities. Massive swimming pool and great location. The Housekeeper, Perla, could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended for a family holiday.

Amazing Family/Party house

The property is simply amazing. Lot of space, lovely furnished, large teracces, allwith the soul of history. Swiming pool is big and nice on pretty place. Only thing what you will miss in summer is A/C...

Capdepera rural home

Lovely home but privacy issue. The owner was there everyday and that was disturbing. Also many feral cats that left odors etc all around. The house was very nice and the pool was beautiful. Good location for beaches and a lovely town.

A beautiful villa in peaceful setting.

The charming villa is a fantastic place to stay in. It has everything you could wish for. There is plenty of space for family and friends. In a superb location for travelling around the lovely north east of the island. The owner is friendly and helpful.

A great experience

Our family of 19 stayed at the villa for one week and could not have been better catered for. The villa itself did not disappoint, an extraordinary and decadent castle of a place with more than enough space to accommodate so many of us. The grounds surrounding the villa brought out an adventurous spirit in the children who just sort of disappeared during the day and reappeared later with exciting tales to tell. The pool is enormous and deep, but with a shallow end and a separate shallow pool for infants. Throughout our holiday the vivacious and energetic Julia was available at short notice to help with anything at all. All in all a wonderful experience, thank you!

Fantastic Finca

We were 4 families of totally 19 p. and everything was supersmooth, comfortable rooms, wonderful terrace, Great kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and Nice pool arena everything that you might need at any time and occation was un the house. All of us just loved this place (or Castle as one of the children said) A bit hot during night hours so glad its possible to sleep with open windows. .

SIMPLY AMAZING!

This finca is a gem to have no equal! Originally searching for a house big enough to celebrate our wedding in/at we stumbled upon this lovely finca in the hills close to Capdepera and instantly fell in love with it on our first visit. Lucky us the owners had just started buidling a wedding venue near the house and so the decision was made to book our stay there. We rented the house for a week, but truly would have loved to never leave again! This house is amazing with all its features, hidden niches and tiny doors everywhere and it took us some time to understand the whole floor plan - such a winding and quirky house, just beautiful! When at home, we mainly spent our time in the kitchen, which is a fantastic place to be - the heart of the house in our opinion. But there's plenty of more space to linger around and even with twelve people, which the house with its six double bedrooms can easily accommodate, there will never come up that feeling of treading on each other's toes. Situated in the hills there's so much land around it you won't feel fenced in. There are some very friendly horses walking around, some black pigs, trillions of cats and occasionally some dogs which come to visit. I could go on writing positive things for ages, but I will leave it here - at the end of the day there's no such thing like this very special house and I can only recommend to book a stay! We surely would come again!

Very spacious finca with lots of character in beautiful rural setting

We were a family group of 12 aged 18 months to 64 yrs and this was a wonderful home for us to spend time together. More than ample space to spend time together or to have our own space. Amazing finca with fascinating history and bundles of character. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming and living nearby were close on hand to provide local knowledge or help if needed. Loved the peace and tranquillity of being out of town so we could just relax and be ourselves with no worries about neighbours. A real retreat but with all the life of a vibrant town with bars and restaurants etc just 5-10mins drive away at Cala Rajada (car is a must). We had a wonderful family holiday that we will always remember and hope to go back to in the future. Thank you!

Beautiful large Finca in lovely area of Mallorca.

Beautiful very large old Finca in a stunning position near to beaches but also 20 min drive to gorgeous little cove.Cala Torta. Good place for large families with children as the pool is lovely with child splash pool. Hire the housekeeper if you want to keep it clean as it is a big area. Aaron and his mother welcoming and helpful.

A wonderful house full of character. Fabulous location. Comprehensive facilities for all ages.

Not knowing quite what to expect we were blown away by the location, the house and the warmth of our welcome from Julia and animals. The photos on line do not do it justice it is enormous. The pool was large with beautiful views and completely private and the kiddies pool was a bonus. We were a group of 10 and were all able to eat together at a long table under a shady pergola. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were plenty of pool toys and a utiity room with other toys and beach umbrellas for everyone to enjoy. The children loved exploring all the nooks and crannies in the house and garden. If we could drag ourselves away there was a town and supermarkets close by and so many stunning uncrowded beaches to explore. We would definitley love to return.

magical place , real Mallorca , superb restoration, vary spacious , warm welcome and help from Julia,great pool etc etc Suggest Horses are corralled when renting - we own and love horses but there is a risk with tenants in the parking area. Diego and Freddie were the stars !!

Finca a sa Mesquida de Dalt

Wir haben mit insgesamt 16 Familienmitgliedern die Woche sehr genossen. Die Finca liegt inmitten einer wundervollen von Olivenbäumen geprägten Umgebung in völliger Abgeschiedenheit. Jeder kann nach Lust und Laune ohne Einhaltung von Etiketten den Tag für sich oder gemeinsam mit anderen gestalten. Alle Einrichtungen zur Selbstverpflegung nebst Waschmaschine sind ausreichend vorhanden. Billard, Tischfussball, Dart und eine Tischtennisplatte lassen auch bei Jugendlichen keine Langeweile aufkommen. Nur das WLAN war in den ersten Tagen leider nicht verfügbar, wurde dann jedoch bereitgestellt und funktionierte perfekt. Ein Highlight stellt auf jeden Fall der etwas tiefer gelegene sehr gepflegte Pool mit 20 Meter Länge dar, sogar mit Beleuchtung für die Abendstunden. Einfach herrlich. Zu erwähnen ist auch die Nähe zur sehr schönen Cala Mesquida und auch zu den Stränden von Cala Ratjada. Capdepera ist nur etwa 3 km entfernt und lohnt sich nicht nur wegen des sehenswerten Castells. Für uns war es am Ende ein unvergesslicher Urlaub.

Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 15 Erwachsenen und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Super schöne Villa, alles an Ausstattung und Freizeitgestaltung (Billard, Tischtennis, Tischfußball etc.) ist vorhanden. Top Lage - abgeschieden und dennoch in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto am Meer und in der Stadt. Vielen Dank, wie kommen sicher wieder 👍

peace and tranquility

The property is a very large old farmhouse with plenty of internal space, lovely large bedrooms, a great swimming pool and baby pool and lovely outside spaces and views. Amazing countryside walks from the house. In spite of only being a 5 minute drive from the sea and shops we felt we were in the middle of nowhere, not overlooked by anyone. With 4 families and children, 16 in total, there was enough space to never feel crowded. The owners and property manager were extremely helpful with questions before we arrived and very helpful when we were there. I would thoroughly recommend it for a large group of people especially those wanting to escape the madding crowd.

Amazing week

We had a wonderful and very nice week at Finca Sa Mesquida!! The manager and the owner was very kind and helpful. Despite there was one day without water. But it was fixed quickly :-) If you are a company with many people and like this area of Mallorca, then I really recommend a stay at this magnificent hacienda!! /Sven from Stockholm with a big family

Perfekte Unterkunft für große Freundesgruppe

Wir haben zu 14. + 2 Kinder eine traumhafte Woche in der Finca verbracht. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz für gemeinsame Gruppenaktivitäten wie Dart, Billard, Tischtennis, gemeinsame Abendessen drinnen und draußen oder Chillerei am großen Pool. Gleichzeitig gibt es genug Platz, um sich zurückzuziehen. Einziger Wehmutstropfen waren kurzzeitige Probleme mit der Wasserversorgung und eine nicht (einwandfrei) funktionierende Spülmaschine. Besonders die Wasserproblematik wurde schnellstmöglich versucht zu beheben. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Auf den ersten Blick folgt der zweite und dritte

Beeindruckender Anblick, Dimensionen des Anwesens und doch mit viel Luft nach oben was Ausstattung und Details angeht.....ein kurzes Bsp. Wir haben mit unseren Gästen Hochzeit gefeiert und haben vorab die Zimmer verteilt anhand der Bebilderung im Inserat .....master-bedroom für uns versteht sich .....ja es zeigte sich wie fotografiert, nur die stark verwohnten Möbel und Teppiche so wie Gardinen,Matratze und Anlagen sind gelinde gesagt nicht mehr zeitgemäß oder gar zu ersetzen. So ziemlich jede Bestuhlung erzählt dir durch Benutzung anhand von knarzenden Geräuschen und fragilem Stand, eine Lebensgeschichte....nicht tragisch aber bemerkenswert, weil sich dass durch das gesamte Interieur so darstellt.....nichts desto trotz punktet die olle Mühle mit Charm, Weitläufigkeit, Ambiente, Minuspunkte sind....keine Klimaanlage in den Schlafbereichen, Müllentsorgung ist nicht zeitgemäß geregelt ....und stark abgenutzter Wohn/Schlafbereich....Zufahrt zum Anwesen kann man auch mit erwähnen, die gestaltet sich auf den letzten 500m mit Schotter und Kies sowie Spurrillen, diverse Kleinfahrzeuge könnten Probleme bekommen
