Enjoy the beautiful scenery from our massive dec, cozy up by a fire under the stars with our outdoor fireplace, or relax in our newly added hot tub. The backyard will capture your heart, as it has ours, because of the peace you feel being surrounded by the countryside.
IMPORTANT: Comal County recently issued a burn ban. We will notify you if it gets released during your stay, but as of right now we unfortunately have to prohibit use of the outdoor fireplace. Use of it will result in automatic loss of your security deposit.
The hill country views are amazing, and we are located close to whatever it is you're looking to do! The home is 5 minutes from the lake, 10 minutes from the Guadalupe River/Whitewater Amphitheater, 15 minutes from Wimberley and local breweries/wineries, 20 minutes from San Marcos and the Tanger Outlets, 20-30 minutes from Gruene, New Braunfels, and Schlitterbahn, and 30 minutes from Dripping Springs. It truly is the perfect spot for a vacation because there is so much to do close by.
If you're looking to just have a peaceful retreat and stay close to home, you'll love the massive outdoor deck, as it is surrounded by hill country, and the trees help you feel secluded from neighbors. This house offers a great space to relax and unwind from the grind of normal life.
On your drive to the house, you will be immersed in the beautiful rolling hills of Texas Hill Country and if you look closely, you'll even be able to see the lake at the peak of the hills from the neighborhood!
For those of you looking to do some work during your stay, we offer high speed internet, and our dining table has a great view for you to enjoy during the workday.
The home is furnished with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen-sized bed in the second bedroom. The optimal amount of guests is 4 people, but if you're willing to squeeze, it could fit 5-6 people - Although, someone might have to sleep on our comfy sectional to make it work for parties larger than 4!
In the kitchen, you will find that it is stocked with all the silverware, cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, spices, and cooking oil you'll need to make meals at home.
We also provide a coffee bar stocked with a Keurig, coffee pods (including decaf), a selection of teas, sugar, and creamer.
The living room is furnished with a nice flat-screen Roku TV so you can login to any streaming app during your stay.
Additional amenities you will find include: a washer and dryer, iron, blow dryer, towels, shampoo/conditioner, and more.
You'll have access to the entire home, other than the garage, as that stays locked for our cleaners.
We are happy to host furry friends, but we do want to make note that the backyard is not fenced in. For those requesting to bring along a pet, we ask that you approve that with the host first.
Please note, in an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with a ring doorbell and three exterior cameras. One exterior camera looks out into the front entrance/driveway and the other two are located on the backside of the house. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside.
Our home is thoroughly cleaned between each stay and ensures compliance with Airbnb's enhanced 5-step cleaning protocol.
Any items left behind by a guest will be either thrown out, or shipped to the guest at their expense.
Canyon Lake is the perfect Texas Hill Country getaway with things to enjoy for any type of guest. The home is 2.5 miles from the Canyon Lake Marina and a great beach spot for the family. For those of you looking for a float trip on the Guadalupe River, the house is only 6 miles from the Horseshoe Loop (a 2hr float depending on water levels) with several tubing outfitters. If you're lucky, you can even catch a concert at the White Water Amphitheater on the Horseshoe. For day trips, Wimberley is 8 miles away, Gruene is 15 miles away, New Braunfels is 17 miles away, and Dripping Springs is 19 miles away. Access to the property is through a smart lock on the front door. You will be given the code prior to your arrival. Your host is available for texts or calls at any time so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions during your stay.
The home is located in a beautiful, quiet community right next to Canyon Lake. Neighbors are spaced out to where your stay will feel secluded while enjoying any outdoor seating areas.
The neighborhood is nestled in the scenic Texas Hill Country and we recommend taking a walk or drive during sunset to see the beautiful colors that peek through the hills.
The location is extremely convenient and close to several restaurants, the Canyon Lake marina and public beach, the Guadalupe River, Wimberley, and a little further out you can also visit New Braunfels/Gruene, Dripping Springs and even Austin. Our guest guidebook details the best places to eat and visit in the area.
There is plenty of parking in the driveway or side of the road next to the house. The driveway is large enough to fit a boat if needed. We kindly ask that you do not block the neighbors' driveways.
Public transportation is limited to a few Uber cars in the area.

Pets are allowed but must be approved by the owner first. Please message us prior to booking. VERY IMPORTANT: The home is not fenced and our neighbors get very upset when pets go in their yard. Pet owners must use a leash when taking pets outside and can only take them to potty in the backyard.

Guests cannot check in or out on the 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE or NYD. This is so our cleaners can also have those important holidays off with their families. Please adjust your reservation accordingly before booking.
A refundable security deposit is required for every booking prior to check-in. Booking guest acknowledges that access to the property will be denied until deposit is paid in full or reservation is forfeited without refund. Payment is collected via Airbnb and is potentially fully refundable if all rules were honored during their stay. Refund is dependent upon ALL guests in the group honoring all house rules, and is initiated after check-out, after all payments have cleared and any needed resolutions made. Our goal is to give guests their deposit back at the end of their stay, we do not wish to keep this deposit if everything went smooth. 1-3 guests require a $250 refundable security deposit and 4+ guests, or guests with a pet, require a $500 refundable security deposit. Late check outs will incur a $50 fee every 30 minutes guests are late on check out.
