We had a great time at The Malcolm. Friendly and welcoming staff. Loved the hot tub and pool table! Would have loved some less stiff pillows but other than that the room was spacious and comfortable with an amazing view.

The property had always been a favourite when we come to Canmore based on the proximity to downtown. The hotel is starting to show its wear and tear and the hot tub was not even hot when we used it. There were too many people in the hot tub and no one in the pool. Crank up the heat in the pool to let everyone enjoy the view of the mountains while relaxing in the hot tub

Usually really like our stay at the Malcom’s but unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool because it was cool! It’s supposed to be 30c but it definitely was cool. Nobody was able to stay in the pool for more than 5 minutes and we all had to cram into the only working hot tub as the other one was under maintenance. The only reason why we come to the Malcome is for the pool which we didn’t get to use. I did bring it up to the reception which they sent in the maintenance team. I heard from other hotel guess the pool was a bit warmer the next morning but still not warm. Very disappointed:(

The staff was great. The hotel is clean and in a good location to walk downtown and along the river. The hot tub and pool have amazing views and I love that there are fire pits as well.

Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. Nespresso coffee machine nice touch. We were on the 3rd floor and there’s significant sound transfer from the floor above ( kids jumping and running). The lounge was terrible, fishy smell, food was terrible and the worst old fashioned I’ve ever had.

Very nice Hotel and surroundings. Overall a Great experience. Staff very friendly. Only con, called down to front Desk 2nd night there to request a replacement wine bottle opener, “I’ll send one up” was the female’s ( name unknown) response, never received it in my 5 night stay?? Walked down to bar tender twice during my stay and he gladly opened them for me. but otherwise wonderful stay in a beautiful area. Would do again! Thanks
