The hotel boasts a great location and convenient access to nearby attractions. However, for the price, the room fell short of expectations. There was an unexpected smell, possibly due to mold, and the carpets were noticeably dirty. This negatively impacted an otherwise promising stay.

Hotel doesn't have elevator if you have room on second floor you need to push all your staff. Deposit $100 dollars never return back, they said its bank problem, wait 3 to 5 days, but other hotel return money immediately after I left hotel.

It was good stay, they do clean and give new towels once in two days. Extra charge in needs to be cleaned on a daily basis. While the room was dusty between the cabinets and no microwave.

The property was in a good location. There were several food options close by. The property is old. The toilet in our room had a broken lid. The room seemed to be clean. We were disappointed considering the price charged for the room.

We are a family of four (two adults, two kiddos). Mountain View Inn was clean and comfortable. Budget friendly. Easy parking, friendly staff, and good eating options in Canmore. (No dining at hotel itself.) Be aware that there is no elevator if you are on second floor.

Walls were dirty. Our sheet was not changed or maybe there was just stains on the sheet that couldn't be taken off. Luckily we had 2 beds so we used the clean one. Didn't feel like moving to another room as it may be in the same condition anyway and my kid was ready to sleep when we noticed the stains. Shower curtains are old and stained. Shower walls are also stained. Booger marks on different walls of the rooms. Good location, friendly staff, but can use higher standards on maintenance, if one is paying $250/night.

The beds were uncomfortably hard and the pillows were very cheap foam ones. The bathroom floor grout needs a good scrubbing. The toilet paper holder is too close to you when using the toilet. It was very quiet and a convenient location. Too bad no breakfast
