I visited this Dreams Vista Cancun all-inclusive resort in December 2024 and, overall, found it not worth the price primarily due to the poor dining experience.
Dining is a key part of an all-inclusive stay, but it was the resort’s weakest point. The food quality across most restaurants was below average. At the Italian restaurant, my pasta dish—advertised with beef ragu, tomato sauce, and parmesan—arrived with just tomato sauce. Staff apologized but didn’t offer to remake the dish. Similarly, after waiting over 45 minutes for tiramisu, we were told it wasn’t available. This should have been communicated earlier.
Buffet options for breakfast and lunch were limited and unremarkable. Only the “Preferred Club” restaurant delivered quality food and excellent service, making our upgrade worthwhile.
Entertainment was limited, with nightly live shows and bands that fell short compared to other all-inclusive resorts in Cancun.
On the positive side, the beach and pool were highlights. Staff kept the beach clean from seaweed daily, and the setting was beautiful.
The rooms were clean and modern with partial ocean views, though one room had a sewer smell in the bathroom.
While the beach and pool were enjoyable, the poor food quality, service issues, and limited entertainment make this resort hard to recommend.
