The worst stay experience ever in hotel zone area. The facility was outdated, with old pictures along with non family friendly statue of women. The room was clean and big. Unfortunately the back sliding door to did not lock, A/C had smell mold when turned on, toilet flooded, shower door did not block water from everywhere. The walk way to rest of bathroom was wet afterwards.The sunken in jacuzzi tub did not work inside room nor the tub outside in patio. Even worse, I paid in advance for one night stay. When I attempted to check out from the facility, they tried to overcharge me for four night stay. Had to get Expedia representative to step in to help, even after I showed my receipt. Not a place to recommend but to avoid at all cost.

The property has a very extreme MOLD problem. Mold is dangerous to both healthy and unhealthy people. I would def avoid. You can see it was once a nice place. Now it is run down and in need of a major renovation.

It’s sad that a property with so much potential… lack of maintenance to the property makes the stays literally sad the building is extremely poorly maintained the staff is really friendly and eagerly to assist always the location couldn’t be more exquisite… hopefully they will update the building soon

We really enjoyed our time in Casa Turquesa, all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Building is old, but a lot more beautiful than the ones around, a truly hidden jewel! We will be back!

This is an older property that is very basic and shows it's age. It's very affordable, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent with many shopping options and the beach is very clean and beautiful. For the price and location you can't beat it. You have to weigh all the factors.

This is a place that demonstrates the inadequacy of the “5-star” rating system. While this may not be an ultra-lux accommodation, what it lacked in pomp in circumstance was made up by character, location, value and charm. This is a hotel that has yields memories of an earlier epoque; a marble and exotic Time Machine. Our room had a large king size bed, spacious bathroom with shower, changing room and bath. However the incomparable ocean view, peaceful environs and obliging hosts are what makes this a must re-visit spot for our family. Our new gem in Cancun.

This is an older property that definitely was an amazingly resort years ago. It still has so much charm and beautiful art throughout, it just needs a little tlc. The small staff was very friendly and helpful. The checkin was the easiest ive ever had. The pool and pool area is very large and clean and overlooks some of the most beautiful beach in Cancun. Food was limited but what we had was very good and the location of the property is perfect for walking to many restaurants and shopping so you have options. For the price this property was well worth our stay, and in perfect condition i'm sure we could have never afforded staying here. So if you are not an uptight picky traveler stay here and enjoy this beautiful older property and think about the history of it and all the Hollywood celebrities that used to stay here exclusively!

Beautiful room, fantastic ocean view, very friendly and accommodating staff (thumbs up to Oscar, Jose and Eduardo), beautiful lobby with breathtaking art, nice pool overlooking the ocean, free parking, steps to beach. The things we didn't like were beyond control of the hotel staff. The driveway was inundated with standing water that smelled bad; walking in and out you had to circumvent the bad water and hope a car did not come by and spray you. Our room had a jacuzzi tub on the balcony. We could fill it. The hot water worked. But the jets didn't. The elevator was not working. The tennis court was not maintained.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very dirty. The 3 bathtubs were VERY dirty along with the floors. Speaking of floors the wood floors were unsafe as the boards were lifting. The only thing that was great was the view.

Hidden Turquoise Gem
Listen, this place is not a really fancy place, but it is clean safe and it’s quiet and it’s right on the beach and it’s a few moments from everywhere. It is truly a hidden gem. The staff here is very very friendly and I just felt like I had the whole hotel to myself because there’s not so many room in the hotel so it’s like the hotel was all mine for the entire week. I was here.
