Serenity at Stromlo modern apartment @Wright

Kick back and relax in this calm space in the shadow of the strong Mount Stromlo. This relatively new suburban pocket of the Molonglo Valley is really starting to thrive and hum now. Recreation abounds here and if you are an outdoorsy person there is plenty to do at your doorstep. This apartment is also an easy 10 minute drive into the city, Belconnen or Woden. Lovely views across to Mount Stromlo.

The apartment features 1 Queen bedroom and 1 Double bedroom, 1 bathroom and 1 underground parking space. It has an open plan fully equipped kitchen/living/dining space. There is a verandah with a beautiful view looking out over to Mount Stromlo and the Stromlo Leisure Centre. There is an internal laundry with tumble dryer, lift access to the apartment level and 1 dedicated underground parking space. There is also some free street parking available.

Guests have access to the whole apartment and the communal gardens in the centre of the complex.

The suburb Wright is just a 10-15 minute drive to City, Woden and Belconnen. There is a bus stop a short walk away on John Gorton Drive - buses here go directly to the City.

You'll also be next door to the famous Mt Stromlo mountain bike tracks and the new Stromlo Leisure Centre and Gym, that has a 50m pool and a 25m pool and kids splash zone!

It is located just close to the Cotter Road, so you easily drive out to see the Cotter Dam (there is also a plaground and BBQ facilities there).

There are lots of local playgrounds, but the best local ones are the large Ridgeline Park playground at Denman Prospect 5 minutes away, or Ruth Park playground next to the lake (on the other side of John Gorton Drive).

For more local vibes, nearby Denman Village Shops has Honeysuckle cafe bar, Domino's and an IGA supermarket. Or even closer is the Coombs shops where you can find the T-Bone restaurant & 80/20 cafe.

This apartment has lift access

The property itself is in a good location, easily accessible with a secure carpark and and lift upstairs. What disappointed us was the state of the kitchen and bathroom. There was mould around the sink in the kitchen, in the shower cabin, the window above it and the ceiling in thebatjroom

Convenient and relaxing
I took my adult and teenage children up to Canberra for a few days. The apartment was easy to find, and only 15 min away from most places we wanted to go. Having a supermarket so close was really helpful. Would recommend adding a few extra kitchenware items like tampons and an extra coffee mug or two.

there were NO teaspoons available for use with tea/coffee; only 1 bowl available for use between 3 people; spare pillows had no pillowcases; required extra blanket due to cold but none available; only 2 coat hangers between 2 large robes. unit is well located however and very presentable and secure.

A lovely view of the kangaroos lounging in the sun all day long. A very safe and clean appt. with no noise from other appts. Good size bathroom, perfect for the elderly who need a bit more room to move. The balcony was large and in full sun which was perfect for sitting and chatting. Would certainly come again.
