Well located in a pretty quiet area.(Our stay was mid week so this may have some bearing on it). Whilst an older building the place has been scrubbed up and refurbed. The references to politics are interesting, though the depiction of Nancy Butterfield is misleading because she is not a very prominent example of a female politician from the past. The bar and dining facilities are very good, except for the 'expensive' bottle of 'we've never heard of the winery pinot' at $49 a bottle.

We were quite surprised at the quality of the renovations of the whole hotel. Fast check-in with the latest technology, and a spacious room. There is undercover parking, and next door is Coles, eateries, bakery and other services. Close to the main road to city and other areas. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The only reproach we could make concerns the tidy up of the room, the bed is not made, which is not a real problem, but neither are the dishes (glasses, mugs and teaspoons), and neither washing-up liquid nor tea towels are provided. Poor housekeeping…

Unfortunately I stayed 4 nights & the room was only serviced once. I sent a message & the room was serviced but unfortunately not again. If the rooms are not serviced daily this should be stated. Towels not replaced, bed not made up or fridge restocked with milk.

Great staff. Quiet room. Clean and comfortable. Bed was good. Super warm shower. Nice balcony. Food was perfect in their dine in section (and you can dine in your room). Bar prices and all drinks available, brilliant. Although working away from home, the peace, quiet and comfort made the trip easy. 6 stars
