Very disappointed for 4.5 star hotel . The room was comfortable however furnishings were old needs revamping. Had to ask for slippers was told not available when told to see the manager slippers turned up in the room . Had to request twice for bath gowns. Television not working sound picture disappearing . Breakfast room dirty tables and cloth seats dirty stains etc . Needless to say very disappointed For a Brand name Novotel 4:5 star hotel .

The rooms need an overhaul as they are old and out dated, the parking situation is a terrible with not enough spaces underground to accomodate your room stay. Charging premium market prices and unable to adhere to the above makes your stay a disadvantage comparing to other motels available. Will definitely not stay here again.

Disappointing introduction to our National Capital
Long delays at check-in and when we left the hotel sometime later there was still a substantial queue. We were unable to get a booking for the restaurant in spite of a large portable advertising sign advertising the restaurant outside the front of the hotel. Suggested the sign should be removed and advice from hotel staff was that “there are plenty of places outside the hotel to eat”! Staff were very dismissive and none were wearing name tags. Room very tired. Overall very disappointing and not a great introduction to Canberra.
