I would give the place 8.5 out of 10. I have stayed here twice this year on 2 different occasions. I prefer to travel at times of the year when it’s not bustling with tourists. This place has been peaceful in that regard. Rooms seem to be very clean. Pillows are nice. The bed was super comfortable last time but not so much this time. I’m used to my own comfy bed. It’s a good location just a short drive to the city of Campbell River. The rooms are down an inside hallway. You can open the window in your room for fresh air from the trees outside and the ocean at the back of the building. If you want a clean safe place to spend a night or so, I would recommend this place. Last time I stayed, I could hear the people next door talking and watching tv. Not the hotels fault, some people just have no concept of common courtesy.

Very comfortable for my one night stay. Beautiful setting on the oceanfront, comfortable bed, clean room and very quiet. The only criticism is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. You have to go to the lobby area to get coffee which is available 24 hours, but I would rather make my own and not have to leave my room. Other than that, I would recommend staying here.

This was the real jewel on our trip. What a refreshing and joyful place to stay. Not just the amazing view and location but the cleanliness and comfort of the room and the facility. We LOVED this little treasure and the people who run it. We felt like family from the time we walked in the door. Stay here. It’s not fancy but it’s the very best of everything. We were pleasantly surprised with the Ocean Resort. Rooms were clean and updated. Staff was very friendly and the location is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the the water. There is not a ton of amenities, but if what you want is a perfect relaxing stay as to recharge and soak up the waterway just book and you won’t be disappointed.
