Private tent camping along the Salmon River on 165-acre Farm!
CAMPERS!!! Camp fire, stars, fresh air and the sound of the Salmon River running in the background. We have a beautiful farm in beautiful Osceola NY that we would like to share with our tent campers as we have plenty of open space for people to enjoy. The Salmon River runs directly through the farmland and we own both sides of it. At this point the sites are primitive. There will be a spot for your tent(s) and a fire pit. We're hoping to add picnic table to each site here very soon. FireWood will be for sale onsite. Lots of beautiful things to see on and by the farm. Fall brook falls, Salmon River Falls, the hayloft, World Famous Osceola Hotel and Salmon River Reservoir. Boydt Castle and Thousand Islands are just 50 minutes away! Come check us out. Sites will be spread out along the property for privacy. If you have more than 6 people in your group please rent two spots so we don't over crowd the area and destroy the natural beauty. 6 Person Max per site.

Very basic, but honest & clear about it
The owner made it clear in advance that there was basically no facilities. That was no problem for me. I was well prepared and had an enormous field to myself.
The owner provided a huge amount of firewood and I enjoyed a nice campfire at night.
In the morning, the field was covered in white frosting and wild(?) turkeys was walking through the field.
For me, it was a great way to explore the area and avoided most of the eclypse traffic and it was well worth the money!
