Wrong room but amazing view
Overall it was a good stay. The view was out of this world and priceless. I was though given the wrong room and not the room I booked . I told the receptionist and she told me that the room I booked was undergoing painting maintenance. Therefore when I told then that they gave me a new room similar to the one I booked. Not the same one but close enough. The staff were very helpful. The hotel need a little pick-me-up and also the doors are not numbered or labelled so easy to get lost. But I would definitely go again as I loved the view and the service.

The view from this property is unbeatable, watching the light show from the rooftop or from the balcony of the sphinx suite was amazing! Staff were friendly though they do push you to book trips/activities through them especially on your first day which can be tiring after a long travel. The room was clean but had things broken/unfinished: toilet paper holder missing the bar to hold it, post of the ceiling in the bathroom was missing, shower sprays part the glass half wall so the floor got wet often and the curtains weren’t the length of the glass wall so you had to be careful dressing/undressing. We loved the jacuzzi tub but was sad we couldn’t see the view as the neighboring rooms could see into your room when curtains open. At meal times workers were so kind! We were disappointed though that often meals or drinks we saw on the menu were not available, many things we wanted to try but couldn’t as they never had it during our stay.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Shadow Pyramids View INN has the best views of the pyramids and the rooftop Tree Lounge allows you to eat and watch for FREE the laser light.! Staff members speak English, Spanish and Arabic. Furthermore, if you need to plan activities during your stay Ali or Shahd can easily help you find the right tours for you! If you need assistance Shadow's support staff (Fraq, Amr, &Edmit) can help with anything you need! The staff is gracious and accommodating, they can resolve any issues or problems you might have. The rooms are clean and my room a view of the pyramids, which was awesome waking up to that view. I highly recommend this hotel, I will definitely stay here again!! I stayed during Ramanda and the Tree Lounge served delicious Egyptian food with lively music and excellent hookah is available!!!

Our stay at the hotel was a big disappointing. The front desk staff pretended they didn’t know where the ticket booth was for the pyramids, even though it was directly across the street. They would only help if we booked through them at $130 per person vs. $10 at the official ticket counter. The hotel’s food is twice the price and half the quality of restaurants just outside the hotel. They advertised a breakfast buffet which turned out to be one plate of cold eggs with refried beans. Overall, a frustrating experience with a lazy staff focused on ripping us off at every interaction. They also have no working internet. At the end of each day in Egypt you close the door to your room feeling completely violated and cynical about human nature.

Our room had a beautiful view and the breakfast was pretty nice. It does state they offer "free airport shuttle" but they do NOT. We asked about it before checking out and they let us know that it is not free even after showing them their page on Expedia. Right out front there is always a bunch of locals trying to ask for money or little kids begging for money or food. The area itself is a little sketchy but we felt safe overall.

The great pyramids and sphinx provide everything you need and are very affordable. The staff are extremely accommodating and cater to all your needs. The Manager Mr. Kamel is very kind and Professional towards his Guest, He wants to make his Guest gets the best and is more like a good friend and all his staff. About The place is very clean and new building, the Rooms are all a good size with great pyramids views right at the doorsteps, the food & drink was very good excellent. It is a highly recommended experience. I would recommend to any Foreigners from all over the world to come here and explore the true Cairo views of Pyramids at from the room balcony step and most importantly the environment and the location is very safe to walk around the great pyramids and sphinx. The whole pyramids area surroundings Protected by Egyptian Army and policemen around the clock 24/7 to make it safe for the tourist and foreigners. Amazing stay and My Special Thanks to Mr. Kamel and his team. Grateful place, grateful work, I am coming back again. I am posting this Review also on my Instagram.

The location is fantastic! I will never forget sitting on the roof terrace watching the sun go down over the pyramids. Unforgettable memories. The staff are honestly amazing! Extremely friendly, very open and interesting to talk to. We felt so looked after and spoiled whilst we were staying here. Will be recommending everyone to go!

Everything was perfect the view and the stuff and facilities we spent beautiful time when we saw the sound and light show for free without tickets from the roof top and the second day we made a tour with the with good prices to pyramids of Giza and Memphis and sakkara for sure we will come again to Egypt

What an amazing hotel with the most magical views. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful and the staff continoulsy go out of their way to ensure your comfort and happiness. The room was spacious and very clean. A special mention must be made to Shahd, Mowafy, who went above and beyond to make my experience and stay in Cairo, Egypt that much more memorable. I would highly recommend this place for your trip in Egypt - you certainly won't regret it. I would also suggest to consider the team to support you in any of your local tour arrangements. Received a message the inn that free airport transfer will be provided free if stayed for 2 nights or more. Arranged and confirmed with hotel that transfer will be foc a week before departure. Day before departure, received another message that we have to pay $30 usd for a small car and $50 usd for a bigger car. Show them that I had confirmed it will be free as previous com. They turned their words mentioning that it will be free only 2 and above night stay. We arrived at the hotel around 2:30am. Booked 3 rooms but staffs insisted that we booked only 2 rooms. After a round of debate they informed me that hotel was fulled and will transfer us to another hotel next door, The Great Pyramid inn. Again try they tried to locate 4 of us to 2 rooms instead of 3 rooms with the price of 3. 2nd night, when we came back to hotel, our rooms was empty and luggage were all gone. We were then informed that we had been transfer back to Shadows Pyramid inn. Again they tried to squeeze 2 single room to one room, telling us they upgrade the room for us. so 3 rooms to 2 rooms again. Another round of debate again, they said they only left wit 2 rooms. Therefore one room will be at shadows inn whereas the other 2 room we have to move down more than 300m away to sky pyramid. No choice we have to leave our luggage behind with our friends and pack our necessities and move over for a night rest as we will be checking out the next morning. Was indeed a Nightmare and wasn’t pleasant to start a holiday.

Mr.Moses is very good service and handsome, good guide , reliable . and Mahmoud is friendly. This hotel service is very nice. You can watch Pyramid from room and roof top with delicious breakfast and dinner. Pyramid right night show is fantastic view♪
