The space:

Renovated four-bedroom house with heated swimming pool and big backyard.

Outdoor dining and covered entertainment area with BBQ and table tennis. The swimming pool is heated to 30 degrees which is essential in winter, and receives plenty of shade from the surrounding tropical palms in summer.

Large kitchen and open plan living and dining. WiFi and Netflix available. Ceiling fans and split system air-conditioners to all rooms, and louvers provide cross flow ventilation.

Plenty of activities to keep the kids busy including an outdoor playground.

The house has 2 bathrooms, one with bathtub and a separate toilet.

Guest access:

Guests will have exclusive use of the entire property, less cleaners cupboards.

Three bedrooms have queen sized beds, and the fourth bedroom contains a double bed with single bunk overhead and single trundle underneath.

Guests are to note that the main entrance to third bedroom is from the covered rear patio area (designed to operate as a separate bungalow if preferred). Alternatively, you can gain access from the two way shared ensuite.

The house is baby and child friendly, with the following available for use:
• Highchair
• Kids steps (to reach sink)
• Porta cot
• Change table
• Trundle bed
• Story books

Interaction with guests:

Property is self check-in and check-out.

All correspondence with the host is to be via “messages” through the website. A contact number will be provided in emergency situations only (English speaking only).

Other things to note:

Guests must advise how many people are staying so that sufficient linen can be provided. Please note, a port-a-cot is provided, however guests must bring their own age appropriate baby blankets / sleeping bags.

*** We have a deal with a Cairns local to keep an 8 seater Kia Carnival at the property. This can be booked separately through Car Next Door, and our guests are given priority access to the vehicle. Guests who choose not to book the car are to note that it will remain parked at the front of the property for the duration of their stay. We have used this car and it is roomy and great value. Message me for the link.

Could not fault it!
The property made the perfect home away from home for our family holiday. It is located central to everything that we wanted to see and do (a car is a must to get around), in a beautifully quiet area. It was clean and had everything that we needed to make our stay more than comfortable. With 3 teeanagers we were well catered for with the pool, table tennis, darts and even Netflix! The outdoor space was perfect to enjoy the beautiful far North Queensland weather, a perfectly relaxing spot sitting by the pool and having breakfast and dinner every day. Amanda was prompt, professional and very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Fabulous budget accommodation for large family
Trying to travel on a budget with 4 children is very challenging. This property was a great find and lived up to our expectations, and more! The house is modern, comfortable, and lovely, with lots to keep the kids entertained. Amanda was prompt, professional and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend this property.

Our wonderful home away from home in tropical far north Queensland!!!
First of all, Amanda was incredibly accommodating to our needs. I had mistakenly booked a flight arriving in Cairns at 8.30am. Amanda and her cleaning crew had prepared the house early and enabled us to check in earlier than 3pm. The house itself had EVERYTHING that we needed. From pantry items to the kids cutlery, cups and plates. The pool and play area was a HUGE HIT! The whole family could enjoy every part of the backyard (A great space for the kids to play hide and seek!!) Plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware to feed an army and huge fridge to fit all our essentials. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful house!! We look forward to our next visit to Cairns!! -Annabelle-

Great Place - would stay again!
The Location: The house is located in a quiet suburban street of Trinity Park in the northern suburbs of Cairns. Having a car in this area is recommended. It's a short drive to Smithfield to a large shopping centre, probably about 25 minutes to Cairns city and about 10-15 minutes to Palm Cove. The House: The house will very well appointed and squeaky clean! the living area is large with a good kitchen equipped with plenty of crockery etc. Three well sized bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet. The living area opens onto a large undercover area complete with outdoor furniture and ping pong table. The pool was clean and inviting. Overall: We would definitely stay here again, although different to the likes of Palm Cove or Port Douglas, having your own quiet space (and resort like facilities!) makes for a nice relaxed holiday.

Excellent place inbetween City and Port Douglas
We had a very relaxing stay in this property. The place is ideal for two families with kids looking for a getaway in Cairns. Kids loved playing in the play area and the pool keep came in handy to have a dip in the arvo. We had visited Cairns city, Port Douglas and Kuranda and found the house was in the center to visit these places. Amanda was brilliant in communicating with us. Only drawback if we have to pick one was the house has only one bathroom and toilet.

A home away from home
The word that comes to mind is cozy. This place is very cozy. If you don't mind staying a bit far from Cairns city and just the one toilet this is a great place to relax and enjoy the region.
