This is a 3 star hotel and felt like it (i.e.no 4 or 5 features)- it was designed to be close to the train station although formally true it was still a serious walk to the actual station.

Very clean hotel. Well situated to visit Caen. Free navette to get around and tram just in front. Nice breakfast with fresh orange juice. While parking is available in the shopping mall, it’s quite pricey even with night discount, cheaper to park on the street during the day.

Hotel is excellent, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the car parking is expensive, although though it was discounted, we still paid around 15 Euro each night.

D day weekend
Definitely book this hotel if you’re in Caen! You won’t regret it and I’m very picky. Awesome location since is next door to shopping and dining. But is almost a new hotel which is perfectly clean, nice pressure hot shower a plus and walking distance to rail and bus station.

Lack of working lighting on outside of building made locating hotel at night unnecessarily difficult. The staff said many had complained but management didn’t thing it was a big deal.The highlight was easy parking and the breakfast provided. The rest was very average
