About samples is the bathroom, the Ibis Styles' hotels do not furnish any. We hope to see again on a next trip to Caen !

Minimalist modern hotel with a lot of coloured plastic in the rooms. Good shower, comfortable bed. Reasonable location beside Orne river for central Caen shops and restaurants. Small bar in lobby isn't up to much. Happy hour from 6 to 8 made drink prices normal. Advertising it as having free parking is stretching it a bit. The hotel has an agreement with the nearby underground parking for free between 6pm and 9am, and on the street there are some free spaces, if unoccupied. This whole area of Caen is covered in road works, so getting to the hotel by car requires very careful navigation around the bridges of the Orne river. Miss a turn and you have to go round again. One day returned from Bayeux by train, and train station is very close to hotel, so very handy for anyone travelling by train. Excellent breakfast was included so that was a huge plus. Takeaway tea/coffee catered for. The hotel runs on minimal staff and the few that are there don't say a lot, or offer much information. Overall, we were disappointed on arrival, but warmed to the place as time went on.

Nous sommes ravis que votre chambre vous ai convenu et que vous ayez passé une nuit confortable grâce à notre literie "sweet bed". Nous sommes désolés que certain points de votre séjour ne se soit pas passé comme vous l'auriez souhaité. Effectivement la ville de Caen étant en travaux quelques déviations ont été mise en place mais pas de soucis pour accéder au parking qui se trouve juste à côté. Notre hôtel possède en effet tous les attraits du centre-ville avec sa proximité avec la gare, les commerces et restaurants et tous les monuments. Nous espérons vous revoir lors de votre prochain séjour pour que nous puissions vous donner une meilleure impression ! Cordialement,
