A nice apartment in a quite area of Cabourb
We stayed here in late august with our 10 year old son.
We found the apartment to be nice, in a very quiet area of Cabourg. We had nice weather and the Balcony was a real bonus.
The apartment was equipped pretty well, with a good selection of utensils in the kitchen, the only thing we found missing was a kettle, but we just boiled water in a pan instead.
The center of Cabourb was about a 15 minute walk, where we found a good selection of eateries which would suit most budgets.
The beach was about a 5 minute walk and was huge and just lovely. The tide does go out a long way so you need to ensure you time your visit with the tide if you want to go for a dip.
I have given this 4 stars as the shower was an over bath thing next to the sloping roof which was a little awkward, and there was nowhere to put the showerhead as you washed your hair. We do speak a little french but the person showing us around spoke zero English (or just declined to) which made things a little awkward. I was also disappointed to find we had to pay an extra 30 euros for bedding, which i did not know about when booking.
But they are all fairly minor points, its a nice quite apartment for a reasonable price.
