Great resort/ poor management company.
The resort was beautiful, very jungle/tropical and secluded. The condo was very nice, ground floor unit with an amazing patio overlooking the golf course and ocean. There were zero condiments, spices left over from over renters like most VRBOs - so you have to bring everything. The kitchen was well equipped including coffeemaker, kettle, blender, pots and pans. The beds were firm and the bathrooms were dated but overall the condo was clean and beautiful.The arrival information from the property management was very poor. We had to find staff to figure out what was included. The beach club was very nice although lots of young children (so noisy at times).We were supposed to have access to the fitness center. This was an important consideration in our rental search, and we eliminated any property without a gym. For over a week we reached out to the property management to get the access card which apparently was lost by a previous renter. They took days to respond with "we are working on it" and the stopped responding at all and we never got access. I would avoid Vacas due to poor customer service. I think the listing should be updated - the fitness center, shuttles, programs were non existent (or if they exists there was no information provided).We would return to this property but would look to rent from another property management company.
