Spot on
A well kitted, comfortable cottage that is centrally located in Buxton town centre. Renovated to a high standard. The shower is over bath by necessity, owing to the original dimensions of this cottage; slightly tricky getting in/out of the bath if you’re 6ft tall, though it can be done. Fluffy great quality towels provided & a super comfy bed. Only caution is if you drive a long estate car: you will struggle to get in/out of the space provided, owing to neighbours’ parking roadside, preventing significant swing room (we managed with an Audi S4 Avant, just, but there’s no way we’d have got our former Merc E-class in as too long!). Friendly locals, lots to do historically & during BIF, plenty cafes, restaurants, churches & barbers! Great walking locally & of course Hartington cheeses. We will definitely come back to this little gem of a cottage.
