Our cabin features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials to whip up a home-cooked meal, including a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and coffee maker. Very clean, comfortable bed. Only complaint is portable air conditioning units. They are big and loud. They do the job but we turned the one in the bedroom off at night so we could sleep.

Three complaints: 1st was not aware of window units for air condition. 2nd running out of hot water with only 3 people in the room. is that because of additional people staying on the other end of the duplex? and was not aware of it being a duplex.

Cute Alpine-style Duplex
Gorgeous views, comfortable furniture & beds. Huge fireplace! Only negative was the young family next door who’s kids got up early. Because it’s a shared building, we could hear them running & screaming inside and out.

Great Mountain Location
Cozy, well equipped cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains close to the Mt Mitchell Golf Course, Black Mountain Campground & Blue Ridge Parkway. Nice, quiet neighborhood with paved road access. We were concerned with no A/C, but the weather was cooler in the evenings and it was not even needed. Outdoor deck with beautiful views of the mountains & woods behind the cabin. Wi-Fi worked well and kept us connected to friends & family.

Favorite place I have ever stayed!
This place was incredible! The most amazing view. It was so cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, pots, pans, oil and some spices. Definitely would recommend staying here.
