The staff where absolutely amazing. They allowed us an early check in. We where catching the afternoon train from Bundaberg, so they held our luggage while we went sightseeing, then allowed us to have a swim and and hang around the pool area until it was time for us to catch the train. Nothing was a bother, and all laid back. While it was not the “Ritz” the rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable and close to train station and river and a great Chinese takeaway just around the corner. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

A well situated property close to the cbd ,park and walking paths. Some rooms require a bit of tlc and possibly a coat of paint. Rooms are a good size although the fridges could be a bit larger. However for a budget motel it is value for money.

There were bogans drinking on the balcony from 3pm, swearing, yelling and slamming doors. The furniture and bathroom were horrible, everything was broken, stained, chipped or scratched. You could find better furniture from an op shop.

Needs more love.
Bed was hard, tap fitting in shower was loose, shower sealant had what looked like mould on it. No covers on bed other than a sheet and none could be located in the unit. Small window blind at back of unit was very mouldy and dirty. The place looks very run down from my last stay.
