Blue Lagoon: Lakefront Retreat! Holiday ready!

Welcome to our resort-like retreat (5bd/3ba) on the south end of Lake Lanier! Relax and let your stress melt away, or create fun family memories. This is our personal vacation home; we hope you love it as much as we do.
The property provides two kayaks, two paddleboards, and a tie-up for your boat or a rental from a nearby marina. Note: Our boat is not available for rent, yet you can contact Aqua Sports Adventures for rent details.

- The lake is just a short walk away. It features deep, clear water and a prime location close to everything.
- At night, the path to the main dock and the dock itself are illuminated.
- There is also a fully enclosed second dock, perfect for fishing!

- Grill or cook at home, or drive 10 minutes to downtown Buford for great food and music.
- You can also order from Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Instacart—all delivered right to your doorstep.

⛳ Nearby Attractions
- You’re a short drive or boat ride from Lanier Islands/Margaritaville, where you can golf or visit the water park.
- If Margaritaville hosts fireworks, they can be seen from one of our docks. Enjoy the "Magical Nights of Lights" and "Snow Island" in the cooler months, featuring a 7-mile tour of light displays and holiday attractions.

🚤 Boating & Water Activities
- Rent a boat or jet skis at Holiday Marina, or bring your own and tie up at our dock (there’s a boat ramp across the cove at Lanier Harbor Marina).
- You can also relax on the dock and enjoy the sunsets from our two swings or provided chairs. During your stay, you can access two kayaks (with backrests) and two paddleboards on our large NO-WAKE cove.

☆☆ PLEASE be careful as it is a lake property with uneven surfaces, slopes, and steps. Negligence may cause a slip and fall, and care must be taken, especially with younger children

☆☆ Understand the potential dangers and risks associated with water activities and dock access. Take appropriate safety precautions, and assume responsibility for yourself and any consequences caused by your party.

🏡 Spacious Home with Personal Touch
Enjoy over 3,000 sq. ft. of open space with plenty of privacy and relaxing areas. This is our personal home and our only rental, so we aim to provide a personalized experience.

🐾 Pets
- Please disclose any pets joining you at the time of reservation. We allow up to two well-mannered, house-trained dogs of any size (Sorry, no cats due to allergies).
- Unfortunately, due to insurance liability, Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, and Rottweilers are not allowed.
- The pet fee is $200.00 for 1-2 dogs.

- Please Note: This room has an exit door. A door safety knob is provided, but please keep this in mind when booking with small children.

Four of the five bedrooms have their own TVs, plus TVs in the upstairs and downstairs living areas. All TVs include Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The main living area and main bedroom TVs also have Hulu, HBO Max, Disney Plus, and Apple TV. Feel free to use our accounts or our extensive Apple Movie Library (over 700 movies)—just no purchases, please!

Wildlife: You might spot some of our local wildlife enjoying the area! From cute box turtles to graceful deer, our critters love living near the water and woods too. Please admire them from a distance and let them be—they’re happiest that way! And remember, box turtles are adorable but illegal to keep.

☆☆Liability Waiver☆☆

☀ The terrain on Lake Lanier ranges from a gentle slope to very steep. The flatter the walk, the shallower the water. The walk to our docks is considered moderate sloping for this lake. My parents, both in their 70s, handle the walk just fine.
☀ Please be careful as it is a lake property with uneven surfaces, slope & steps. Negligence may cause a slip and fall, and care must be taken, especially with younger children.
☀ Also, you understand the potential dangers and risks associated with water activities, dock access and take appropriate safety precautions, and assume responsibility for yourself and any consequences caused by your party. There is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk.
☀ Children under 13 should wear a life jacket around the water. We provide life jackets but may not have them in every size.

Additional requests:
☀ Bag all trash and put it in outside trash can - Wednesday pick-up.
☀ If there is inclement weather, the umbrella by the outdoor fireplace needs to be closed, and the outdoor furniture needs to be covered.
☀All dock items and lake toys should also be put back to avoid a fee. ☀Follow checkout instructions - check for personal items

⭐ Boat Off-Limits: The owner's boat at the dock is strictly off-limits. A $2,000 fine plus any additional damages will be imposed if tampered with. Boat rentals are available through Aqua Sports Adventures.

⭐ Respect the Neighbors: No loud parties or excessive noise late at night. Neighbors are reasonable but will call the police if disturbed. Parties will result in an instant cancellation of the reservation.

⭐ Security: For your safety, we've installed a Ring Doorbell and a camera at the dock. No interior cameras are present.

⭐ Pets: Please disclose pets at the time of reservation. Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinschers, and Rottweilers are not allowed due to insurance liability. No cats are allowed due to allergies. Gwinnett County law requires dogs to be on a leash. The pet fee is $200.00 for 1-2 dogs.

⭐ Parking: No street parking due to narrow roads. The driveway accommodates up to 4 large SUVs.

⭐ Safety Precautions: Be cautious around the property’s uneven surfaces, slopes, and steps, especially with children. Water activities and dock access come with inherent risks; take appropriate safety measures. Children under 13 should wear a life jacket, which we provide (sizes may vary).
