👉 This is a “discount/budget” offering, not a luxury hotel. Comparable hotels typically charge 2-10 times more. The house is a historic property built in the early 1900s, so expect some imperfections. We strive to provide a 5-star experience, but please maintain realistic expectations.

👉 Our city has been impacted by the economic downturn from the pandemic. Some areas may have abandoned buildings with boarded-up windows. Despite appearances, the area is safe, and safety has never been an issue.

👉 Bugs are common in this area, especially in warmer months. While the house is not infested, bugs can enter if doors or windows are left open. We do not offer refunds for bugs entering the house.
🏠 Booking Requirements:

✅ Locals must contact the host before booking.
✅ Only the person who booked and authorized additional guests is allowed to check in with the booker.
✅ All guests must be declared on the reservation. Undeclared guests will incur an additional $40 per day and may result in removal if deemed unsuitable.

🤼 Guest Limitations:

✅ Maximum of 12 persons allowed in and out of the property at any time. Violation may lead to immediate removal without a refund.

🔐 Property Access and Rules:

✅ You must have a valid phone number for accessibility.
✅ This is a self-check-in property; you certify willingness to follow provided instructions without contacting the host before reading house rules.
✅ Authorization for property access to address complaints about amenities or cleanliness.

✅ Garbage should be sealed in bags and taken to outside bins; improper disposal incurs a $50 fine.
✅ Lock all windows and doors when not home and at check-out.

Fees and Additional Charges:

🚭 Smoking fee: $500-$900 depending on the cleaning cost.
✅ Late check-out unauthorized for over 30 minutes incurs a $50 fee.
✅ Possession of the property beyond 2 hours after check-out time results in an additional day's charge.
✅ Extra cleaning fee if the property is left excessively dirty after check-out: $100.

✅ By booking, you agree to act in good faith with the host.
