This hotel felt like it was on the verge of shutting down. It was understaffed and even the ones who we occasionally saw were not very nice. Checking in was difficult, getting an iron to the room took them 30 minutes which barely worked and nobody ever cleaned after customers. Our bathroom had sewage smell it wasn’t ideal…The spa and the gym was only open between 1pm and 9pm so we couldn’t use them in the morning when wanted to actually workout and enjoy the sauna. The spa smelled terrible anyways and there was trash everywhere with not a staff member in sight. It’s way too expensive for this experience, go get a different hotel.

The property is conveniently located and has been recently renovated. It is very interesting and historical building. The staff are very good. The gym could be improved with free weights and the hot tub should have jets that can be controlled.

This was the most expensive hotel on our European tour and most disappointing. From problems with room at checkin, poor instructions, very messy lobby and restaurant, grossly understaffed for ‘high end’ hotel. Laundry was taken for most of day and then returned unwashed due to issue?? All around bad experience for a beautiful hotel.

Positives: It’s a very opulent hotel within walking distance of all the attractions. The room I had was beautifully designed and very spacious with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. Amazing bathroom Extremely clean Bathrobes and slippers for spa use A nice spa area Very quiet hotel. A bottle of water on first day. Negatives. There are no staff to help with suitcases. Water was not replenished in the room which is unusual for a five star hotel The reception staff were not very friendly It’s very quiet and the lounge area which is beautiful, was always empty. I’m surprised about this. It’s a shame because this hotel has way more potential.

This is far from a 5* hotel. It’s definitely the worst 5* hotel I’ve ever been too. Room was too noisy and cleanliness rather disappointing. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff at reception was useless and clearly annoyed to be there. Overall a really poor experience for a 5* hotel, wouldn’t recommend it

Wonderf trip
I am obsessed with the Ana Palace! I just loved staying here. Extremely gracious and helpful checkin experience, the associate took time show us all the great neighborhoods and gave great food recommendations. Complementary champagne in the lobby! The rooms were huge, we booked two junior suites for a group of 5 and we were very comfortable. Robes and slippers for everyone. The spa and pools were amazing. I could have stayed another week just for those. The neighborhood is excellent, just a block from the Danube and a couple from Parliament. Close to a lot of cafes and restaurants too. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest, great value.
