This beautiful former fishermans cottage is situated within the picturesque conservation area of Yardie. The property is located just metres from the sea front boasting uninterupted views across the Moray Firth from the lounge, dining/kitchen area, master bedroom and roof terrace. Where dolphins, and seals can often be seen swimming along the coast.
Our cottage has been a holiday let since 2017, previously advertised through holiday lettings and trupadvisor until they ceased advertising small properies in October 2024. We have accomodated guests from all over the world and had achieved 55, 5/5 star reviews. Providing peace of mind when booking, and the reassurance that previous guests have been very satisfied with their stay at our cottage.
Seaview cottage has been fully renovated and modernised to a high standard and offers free wi-fi connection throughout the house. The property is ove 2 floors.
Downstairs - fully equiped modern kitchen, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster. There is a 6 seater dining table ideally placed for taking in the beutiful sea views, while eating a relaxing meal, or relaxing with a cuppa or glass of wine while dophin spotting.
Comfortable spacious living room with 4 seater sofa. large snuggler chair, coffee tables, electric stove heater, 48 inch smart tv and Sky tv.

Upstairs - Light and airy twin bedroom. Family bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Beautiful bright and spacious master bedroom with super king sized bed. The master bedroom has windown ideally placed to enjoy the sea waves rolling in from the comfort of your pillow. The master bedroom has a door that leads on to the spacious roof terrace. This is an ideal location for sitting out and enjoying the weather while taking in the sea views and of course keeping an eye out for any passing dolphins. There are a set of both adults and childrens binoculars on hand to help locate and take a look at any passing wildlife along with watching passing boats.

Yardie is a conservation area withing Buckie. Yardie is a beautiful peaceful haven where you can relax and enjoy the stunning sea views. Or can be used as a base to explore the many visitor attractions that the North East of Scotland and the Highlands have to offer.

Buckie is a small fishing town on the Moray Coast.
The town centre of Buckie is just a short walk from the cottage. The town offers a good selection of shops, supermarkets (Tesco, Lidl, Co-Op) cafes, restaurants, pubs, take-aways, leisure centre which offers a fitness room, sauna and steam room, and a 25 metre pool, and bingo hall.
Minutes walk from the cottage is a playpark for children in the old buckpool harbour. There is a large grassed area, where a set of football goals are in place.
There are sixteen visitor attractions within the local area many of which are suitable for both adults and children (more information on these located within the guest folder) The area has 16 gold courses, including the famous championship links course of both Lossiemouth and Banff. Two golf courses are located within Buckie.
To the East of Buckie, Strathlene gold course has a spectacular clifftop location and stretches almost all the way to Findochty.
To the West of Buckie and also on a clifftop location lies Buckpool golf club, which reaches out towards the village of portgordon.
Seaview Cottage is located a couple of minutes walk from the start/finish of the Speyside way. The Speyside way runs from Buckie to Aviemoreon the edge of the Cairngorm mountains a walking distance of approximately 65 miles.
Moray is the ancestral home of the whisky distilling industry and the unique malt whisky trail links several of the areas leading distillaries where visitors can get an insight into the production of Scotlands national drink. Seaview cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Whisky trail and visiting local distillaries such as the Strathisla distillery, Glenglassaugh distillery, Bendromach distillery, Dallas Dhu distillery and the many other distilleries in the local area.
Seaview cottage is ideally placed to visit the abundnace of quaint fishing villages and picturesque harbours scattered along the beautiful Moray coastline.
Moray is a top detination for sea fishing, as well as salmon and trout fishing on the world famous River Spey and the River Findhorn. There are activities such as horse riding, mountain biling, walking, field sports, hiking, hill climbing, sailing, diving, winter ski-ing.
Moray is the county of Macbeth and is steeped in histor, with a wealth of castle, historical buildings and sites to explore.
