We had a room on the 17th floor with a spectacular view from a large balcony. The hotel is within walking distance to Old Town with its many restaurants and bakeries. The staff is very friendly. Room clean. Only improvement for me would be breakfast. The eggs and such were cold.

This used to be a real lovely hotel. But I feel the standard of the property went considerably down. The breakfast include few non dairy vegan options. The coffee was terrible. Staff was friendly however. No vallet parking or anyone available to help with luggage. Missed this personal touch. Rooms were lovely and I absolutely loved seeing a fresh Apple, peach and mandarins in the room. The fruits were fresh and welcoming. I was impressed. Otherwise very friendly staff. Will come again.

Fantastic staff some things a bit older
The staff have been incredible, the service was exceptional. Fantastic facilities but some things were a bit older than you would expect at a 5 star hotel for example finding a plug to use the clothes iron was a bit hard but got there in the end. Just minor minor things apart from that all was great.

Friends have a vacatin in beautiful Romania
Over all we liked the hotel. The breakfast was exelent. I want to mention mr. Andrei the waiter for his good recommendations. Also I want to mention Miss Ambra and Mr Eduard for all the assistance and information they gave us when ever we asked them. You were blest with good stuf. Some little remarks: 1. The Grand Hotel Bucarest is not a new one, you have to intall more Shawers instaid baths because it is hard and dangerous to get in. 2. The balcony is close, you can put there some planters with flowers... Thank you . Hanoch

Great stay in Bucharest
The hotel is centrally located. Easy to get to the old town by foot. The staff is friendly especially in the restaurant. Breakfast between 7 am to 11 am permits you rest till later morning. The rooms are spacious and quiet . The air conditioning is very good and cold.
