Very nice two night stay. The room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable. Quiet. Reception staff were excellent. Very friendly and efficient. Bar and bartender were great. Brussels Midi/Zuid literally just across the road.

I don't mean it is unsafe, but the area around, because of just across the road from the Brussels Midi station, especially just outside the property, is creepy. There are always some people of dark skin hanging around, which made you exiting and entering the property feel uncomfortable. However, it is very convenient for travelers in terms of transportation, eating.

Me gusto que estaba cerca de la terminal Sur de Bruselas, es que nos fagilitaba la movilizacion hacia varias partes del hotel. Lo unico es que el area tiene muchas personas sin hogar debido a esa misma situacion de la terminal de transporte

Room was very spacious and quiet. Breakfast was good. The area isn’t the best but the hotel is across the street from the train station and literally above the subway station, so you don’t need to walk around the neighborhood unless you want to. Plenty of food options inside the train station.

Everything is good except that the safety may be an issue after dusk in surrounding area. This property is just across the road from the Brussels-Midi station. Despite the convenience, there are always people (looking like homeless kind) hanging around nearby and even just outside the entrance of the hotel. Once you enter the hotel, it is fine and safe, but it is a bit uncomfortable when walking out the hotel.

Great hotel, close to the MIDI train station, on its saver side… Everything was great… One recommendation from a frequent international traveler: please make safe boxes available in each room… it’s a hassle to keep one’s belongings stored at the front desk… Definitely will stay again in the future…

Very large room over looking Gare Midi. Thought their would be a lot of street noise but there wasnt. Had a late dinner in the bar and it was very good. Bartender was great.

insect bites
it was very bad. i got insect bites on my feet (several in each foot), which made me woke up in the middle of the night as i had to scratch my feet as i feel very itch. second day it got worse. i can feel my feet are sawllen and keep feeling very itch. i am not sure whether it is a bed bug or not. i have to check and see. it is disappointing that i had to deal with this situation after selling in a hotel like ibis. what is the point of paying expensive if i need worry about insect bites.

This place is perfect for a stay near the train station. The breakfast was great. I was able to get a late checkout so I could be comfortable before catching the train. This area is busy. But I felt safe in the hotel. Grand Place was about 18 minutes walking. I did this solo. You might prefer to taxi.
