Rude staff. I booked the room for my son. He is in the Army and was there for a training mission. He found insects in the bed and around the room. I called to report this and they told me, “Sorry, there is nothing we can do about the infestation of bugs in your room. We are too busy to change the sheets and we are full, so you can not change rooms”. The bugs were biting, so he spent the night in his gear on the floor. I sent pictures of the various insects crawling all over the bed. The next day, they said they had inspected the room and could not find any bugs. They sprayed/treated the room and told me the bugs in the pictures were common in the area and do not bite. Their attitude was rude, uncaring and contradictory. If you didn’t find any bugs, why did you spray the room? The staff should be ashamed for the way they treat our military who deploy and protect our front lines.

just needs better breakfast. was out there at 6:40am and they were already out of breakfast meat and only had about 2 people in the breakfast area.

The complimentary breakfast was the best ever I have had in a hotel. The elevator was a bit shakey. The swimming pool was disgusting. Looked like they drained it, the shallow end was very dirty, the deep end had water in it, maybe from rain and it was green, algea looking.

Brownwood nicestvhotel.

It was within walking distance to many of the places we visited. Great breakfast buffet, included biscuits and gravy. This little town was wonderful, friendly, and our stay was short so we will be returning. There is more we didn't get to see because our time was limited. It was a great stay!!
