Taller Pines is a family-friendly cabin located in the heart of Hochatown. It's the perfect getaway for rest and relaxation in the great outdoors with ample space when indoors. Relax in the hot tub, play games together, hike to the lake (~0.5 mile hike from the cabin), or enjoy a toasted marshmallow around the fire pit. While very central to everything Hochatown has to offer, the cabin is surrounded by hundreds of acres of forestry land, offering a private and peaceful experience.

☀Dog Friendly☀ - No family vacation would be complete without our fur babies so bring them along! We allow up to two dogs (max weight of 50lbs) for a one time, non refundable fee of $100. The platforms automatically include this fee in the rental amount if you selected pets in your search. Dogs are the only type of pet allowed and there are no breed restrictions. We provide stainless steel doggie bowls (base is height adjustable), doggie blankets for use on couches/beds, doggie towels to wipe paws as needed, two foldable crates/kennels (stored in closets), and doggie poop bags. We do not allow dogs to be left unattended. When guests leave the cabin, we require dogs to be crated in either provided crates or crates guests bring with them. We do expect guests to clean up after their dogs outside. Failure to do so may result in an additional cleaning fee. Cabin will be evaluated for any potential damage after each stay.

Please note:
1. Fresh linens and towels provided as well as a starter pack of k-cups, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Hair dryer included in each bathroom.
2. Cabin has central heating and air conditioning.
3. The cabin currently does not have an EV charger or a 220v outlet. There is a 110v outlet outside guests are welcome to use.
4. The outdoor surveillance on this property has two security cameras; one faces the front yard, driveway and entryway while the other monitors the back yard and back entry way.
5. $300 security deposit hold (refundable assuming no damages) and signature on the rental agreement are required for booking. The terms in the rental agreement are not negotiable so please inquire if you'd like to read it before booking. Check in details, including the cabin access code, will not be provided until this step is complete.
6. One time, non refundable dog fee of $100 for up to two dogs per stay. Max weight per dog is 50lbs.
7. A late check out fee of $100 per every 30 minutes past 11:00am CT will be assessed to guests who do not check out on time. Standard check out time is 11:00am CT.
8. Host promptly responds daily between 9am and 9pm. Messages outside these hours may experience a longer response time.

Great stay!
Property was just as described, everyone had a great time. Kids loved the hot tub, the games up in the loft and corn. The house is located next to the safari and you can see the buffalo from the house. You can sometimes hear some noises from the animals from the safari at night though. There was also some construction next door which was a little noisy during the day.

Perfect Place to Stay!
This place was awesome! Firstly, it was very easy to communicate with the property manager. We were a party of 7 and also brought our large dog (discussed with the property manager), and it was the perfect size for all of us. The space was clean, cozy, and intimate. There were TVs in each room including the living room. The master bedroom has a huge connected bathroom and a ton of towels - some even specifically for dogs! One of my favorite things was that it’s very pet friendly. They provided food and water bowls with a stand, pet blankets, and pet towels. There were even some crates provided in the closet. The backyard area is spacious and perfect to appreciate the fall foliage. We didn’t get the chance to try the hot tub, but we loved that porch area with the lights and rocking chairs. We would highly recommend this place! It’s beautiful and wonderfully taken care of.

Such a great getaway property! We enjoyed our stay very much! Our 11 year old love the arcade games upstairs and we enjoyed the hot tub! Beds were cozy and kitchen had all the amenities to cook meals.

Amazing Getaway
Firstly, Andrea was easy to communicate with and fast to respond. The property was in a great location and right next to the Beaver Bend Safari which the kids absolutely loved. There was plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub and fire pit were great gathering points. We had an awesome time and will definitely book this property again!

The property was nestled in rural area, yet still within minutes of food, entertainment, and needs. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. When we entered there was soft music playing on the tvs !! The kitchen fully equipped and the master bath, marvelous!! When we had a question, the response always immediate.

Fantastic property in a great location
I chose this location specifically because of the location and the amount of space. We had young children that I knew would love the safari right next door and the game room in the loft. I was correct. We all really enjoyed the stay. We could see the buffalo when we drove by but also took a tour of the safari. The house was well appointed with beach towels for the hot tub and cozy blankets for the couch. Clean and comfortable. I'd suggest this place to anyone!

Overall the stay was great. The only issue I had the master door had a little bit of an issue closing. It was not able to lock. The cabin was secluded enough to not be able to see or hear neighbors.

Great stay!
We traveled here with my family and a few friends the solar eclipse. The location was perfect, close to town and quiet surroundings. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. My kids enjoyed the arcade and hot tub, and the adults enjoyed the fire pit area and the short walk to the lake. It felt like home away from home!

Great family trip
Loved hanging out at this quiet piece of heaven! The hot tub was perfect after a long hike, and the firepit was a great gathering spot- even when we were just sitting there in the mornings. Amazingly peaceful out there and relaxed us all. The communication and response when we had a question about the hot tub was immediate- even sending someone out within 10 minutes on a Saturday evening just to be sure we were doing well. Thank you for helping us connect with nature and as a family.

This is a great property! Very comfortable and the location is great! Close to restaurants and Beavers Bend but secluded enough not to be bothered by traffic. The host is wonderful and very responsive to communications. A comfortable and worry free place to stay!

Chillin’ into the New Year!
This was our first trip to Broken Bow/Hochatown. We chose this location because it is close to home. Taller Pines cabin was extremely inviting and cozy. It is tastefully decorated and just feels like home. Our 7 yo grandson absolutely loved having his own space in the loft above the kitchen. The cabin backs up to the forest where a short hike over the hill allowed us to check out buffalo and deer from the drive through safari. The hot tub was also a big hit with all the guys. Our only suggestion would be to add a larger water heater. Hot water did not last long if multiple people showered within a short amount of time. This was a great beginning for 2024!
