We are proud to offer this stunning two bedroom maisonette to the market for the discerning traveller. The Candles Retreat is in a fantastic location above Britain's smallest micro brewery but being a few minutes walk into town too and the train station even closer.
Having been extensively refurbished over the last couple of years there is no stone left unturned. The property has had a back to brickwork renovation with only the finest of materials being used whether that be the granite worktops to the Hypnos Beds to satisfy our future guests.
Located in a quiet area, 5 minutes walk from the top of the town, 8 minutes to the beach and 4 minutes to the station. We have safe free on street parking, above Kent's best micro pub The Four Candles. You have a fantastic pub across the road too, shops are a couple of minutes walk and a park nearby too. All round a great location, quiet, safe and not far from everything.
Lounge/Dining Room
You can sit back and relax in the wingback reading a book or news paper, the property is set-up for four guests and we have managed to find a period table to bring back this period of splendour and beautiful architecture. The Smart TV is hidden away and at a push of a button appears with a sound-bar too. The room boasts an original fireplace although this cannot be used the space is just a great place to be. The room also has modern remote controlled electric blackout blinds.
Kitchen
Having the ability to cook food is one of the most important parts of self-catering accommodation, the kitchen has a great selection of appliances including the most important... A drinks cooler & coffee machine. The kitchen comes fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils. Please note this property does not offer a washing machine or dishwasher.
Bathroom
You have a luxury walk in wet-room which even has an integrated bluetooth sound system, please feel free to sing along to music of your choice played though out high end sound system.
Hallways
The hallways have again been finished with high quality materials and offer pictures from a bygone era. They are light, airy and spacious.
Master Bedroom
We have a fantastic colour combination, a Hypnos Kingsize Bed with electric blackout blinds. We also supply towels and hotel quality bedding.
Second Room
We have a fantastic colour combination, offering either twin or a super king bed, again a high quality Hypnos bed. Offering again electric blackout blinds and we do supply towels and hotel quality bedding.
PLEASE NOTE WE DO HAVE A NO SHOES ON THE CARPET POLICY - We have gone to extreme levels of quality and we must insist no shoes are to be worn upstairs. We have allowed ample space in the ground floor private hallway to take these off.
