Bathroom in serious need of an upgrade Our flat was freezing and hot water wasn’t working either. Generally not very good upkeep

Let down by total lack of any cleaning
On first entry you think this place is ok and it’s location suited us. Entry instructions provide were very good, but the issue is the rear access is blocked by four wheely bins. This makes a small access point difficult to find and navigate. Arriving gone 10pm we were very tired and just wanted to crash, but that didn’t happen because we had to spend over an hour cleaning. As I said at first glance it looks ok until you find hairs and dirt everywhere. The place needed a deep clean and we left it cleaner than we found it. It’s a shame as a bit of DIY fixing wallpaper, etc and TLC, cleaning top to bottom and the owners have a nice place to rent. Which would have received I much higher rating.

Completely unacceptable
Arrived and the property is a building site. The door lock is not appropriate for charged accommodation. The flat was dirty, extremely dusty throughout, and even though it looked like the bed had been made, there were clear signs that someone had been lying on it afterwards. The Wi-Fi does not work, therefore neither does the TV. Also there is negligible phone signal on the building so can’t even tether to mobile connectivity. This apartment is completely unacceptable, especially if travelling for work. Obviously there is no refundable option to book so I ended up having to just book another apartment instead so that I could work. Avoid at all costs.
