Windows were not thick enough so you heard all the traffic noise day and night.
They tell you that the mini bar is included, but it is not replenished during your visit.
We stayed in the Skyline City Suite - room 1658. Stunning space. Ample room, large dining table, couch and butlers kitchen tucked away. Everything was clean and beautiful. Free mini bar was a plus!

Magic moments
It’s was our romantic weekend away and we couldn’t ask for more. The hotel is breathtaking the interior incredible and the chic vibe. Special thanks for the beautiful polish lady at the reception very welcoming and helpful.
Pool and leisure centre not open. Room quality excellent. Location and view excellent. Room service food below average. Paid via Wotif but Star Grand reception insisted had not been paid and charged us twice. Still trying to sort out a refund from Star Grand. Definitely a few teething problems.
The room was great, staff were lovely and the view was totally amazing. The only place to have breaky on the sky deck made very yummy food but it was disappointing to have a path sweeper/washer go back and forth between the seating area and kitchen. Why wouldn’t this be done prior to opening for breakfast. Still so much construction going on and can’t access all areas yet.
The star is very luxurious, which is what you should expect for the price. Very comfortable beds and very clean.
The downsides, was that not of all the amenities such as the pool were available as it was still being built.
The other downside was that using the lifts was somewhat confusing when it got busier later in the night. If the casino was at full capacity, you couldn't access the area via the lift. It took me asking a stranger for help, to which he suggested speaking to the lobby staff about it which I did.
They pointed me in the direction to head to the level I needed to get to buy going outside and up a few sets of escalators.
A note in the lift would have been appreciated as we heard many people got stuck in them due to this reason.
We also weren't aware that the mini bar in our room was complimentary, we would have taken advantage of that if we knew. Unsure if it is always free but thought I would mention.
Overall, the stay was very comfortable and we did enjoy ourselves. We will be back!
