Loved the experience ... but for that price we expected the facilities to be up and running..No pool..Sauna..Spa..Gym etc...It left a bad taste in our mouth as we were geared up for the full experience.Plus the casino was a bit lame and small for the size of the establishment it almost seemed like it was old and needed a refirb. As i say we loved it but just missed the mark for usin some areas.
The river view was breathtaking and calming. Love the excellent service at reception, the attentive and thoughtful housekeeping staff. You have a wonderful team that is making a difference with your clientele.
We really enjoyed our stay and view from our room was spectacular. I really couldn't fault the hotel or the staff. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Looking forward to staying again soon.
Sky Deck is absolutely fabulous and the highlight of our stay. Twin Room No 1494 was spacious, clean, well stocked and all the mod cons. Still a lot of renovations going on but we knew that when booking. Casino is okay but doesn't have the charm of the old Treasury. No Keno online - unpaid licence rumour?
They have a truck load of staff but the Cherry Bar, which is their focal point, was not open sometimes during the day.
The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
The main issue we had was with the layout. They have these massive stairs that light up and you think if you walked up those you would be in the casino but no it's a BMW showroom instead. You have to go up the scary tall escalator to get to the casino. Same with the Bonner bridge, you would think it would lead to some grand entrance but it doesn't. Lifts were confusing and it took us about 1.5 days to sort of get the hang of the layout.
Staff are not informed of what is going on. There were issues with Keno, lifts and exit doors and security guards and information desk were not aware of correct information.
Thoroughly enjoyed our two nights in a river view room on level 13 in tower 2. Unfortunately the pool and steam room facilities were not finished yet, despite an indication when booking that they would be ready in December.
The room was very luxurious, the view stunning, staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, easy walk to Southbank or the city. Plenty of great restaurants, parks and entertainment close by and in the hotel. Will definitely be back!
Excellent hotel for a city break. Genuine 5 star hotel. Easy checkin. Spacious comfortable room. Excellent amenities, good wifi, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, great views. Close to city centre and Southbank. Would definitely stay there again.
Just a beautifully experience with wonderful professional Hospital
We had a an amazing experience and wish to thank everybody at the staff or making our stay very special
Luxurious, large spacious suites with spectacular views of the Brisbane river overlooking Southbank Parklands, from river view suites.
Also, little things count, nice toiletries and a descent hair dryer.
I can’t recommend that you stay here right now. The hotel doesn’t advertise it, but it is clearly doing a soft open. The pool isn’t ready. The gym isn’t ready. Many of the restaurants are not finished. The staff at the restaurants that are open are not of the calibre you would expect and the experience is sorely lacking (here’s looking at you Azteca). There are lots of kinks to be worked out still. The hotel doesn’t tell you this in advance and charges room rates that do not reflect the unfinished state of the property. It will be great once it’s properly up and running, but right now it’s a bit of a mess. In the meantime, stay at a legitimate five star hotel.
Windows were not thick enough so you heard all the traffic noise day and night.
They tell you that the mini bar is included, but it is not replenished during your visit.
