I paid a premium to be there for new years eve , and was given a room facing a wall. Their add says parking avaliable ,when i got there was told its valet parking only at $55 a night so an extra $110 to the total . When I checked out I got sent an invoice for $120 so they charged me an extra $10 on the credit card they had on file. I was told they want a $100 fee held when checking in which is normal, but they held $101.50 on my card. So they charged me a fee for them to hold a deposit , I didnt get that back either. I would say to others looking for a hotel at south bank ,there are plenty of good hotels to choose from. Choose carefully

Rydges Southbank is in a fabulous location right behind the gorgeous Southbank river precinct. Our king suite was large and perfect for our family of 4. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

My family and I stayed at the Rydges for 2 nights and it was fantastic! Loved the valet parking, very clean room with great air con, excellent location and friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again.
